My Dancing Queens!

I really can't believe how fast the fall flies by each year and before we know if we are in Christmas prep mode.  November seems to just run slap dab into December these days.  AB decided to try out for Nutcracker which meant an extra commitment in Texarkana each week.  Luckily it was on Thursday night when we were already in town for sister's dance class.  The only downer was it didn't start til 8pm so it made for lots of free dinner time in between not to mention a late bedtime for these two each night.  But they were great sports especially little sister who sat through all those practices watching and waiting for her turn one day. A late night treat from Starbucks...mom had to have her coffee by that time at night to keep her going.
A few of the pictures from Nutcracker rehearsals

And leading up to the other big performance is Holiday Fair each year where the girls take the stage to dance to some of their favorite holiday tunes.  Little B dance to It's Beginning to look alot like Christmas"
The girls doing their best shake....
And AB danced to Run, Run Rudolph.

Our friend Ellie.

B did a great job.  I really was so proud she owned the stage that day!

Cuteness overload right here!

So that kicked off Thanksgiving break and then on Monday we headed with a crew of girls to Dallas for the day.  I drove a car load of hyper 12 years olds that taught me oh so many lessons along the way.  it was a lot of fun to celebrate Ellie and meet some new friends.
AB did  a great job on the ice that day as well.
And little B decided to sit that long day in the car out so she headed to Nana and Pop's where she and Pop stayed busy on some projects all day.

By the end of the day this girl was really getting the hang of it.
And they even got to see the big guy himself...we are convinced that this was no Santa helper he is the real deal for sure!
Then the week after Thanksgiving it was time for the performance we had been practicing for 10 weeks in a row.  We made all the other Snow Fairies a little treat to remember the dance.
Audrey and AB had a great time on the stage together and we are so thankful it was an opportunity for these two girls to get together once again.
Some new friends that were so sweet and welcoming to us.  We really enjoyed getting to spend time each week with them.

And also with all the family that came to each performance each night.  G and Pop made it the first night.

And then the cousins came to town for the second night.  We even managed to make a few gingerbread houses that day while waiting to leave.
AB and the beautiful Snow Queen

Even Uncle B joined in...now that is really taking one for the team.  Best Uncle around...
Nana and Pop also came the second night.
And these were her present from me to remember each year by. On the back of the ornament it tells the year and the part she had in the play.  I hope it will be something she cherishes for years to come.

And on Sunday, Bobo and Sheshe watched as she danced for the last time this year.
I guess each year I appreciate this time with my girl and girls this year even more once it is over.  It always seems so busy but now when I look back on it I realize I was loving every second of that.  I must say time passes by so quickly I am really trying to hang on and slow these girls down...
but in the meantime I am going to have some fun with it too!

All the little ballerinas would gather each night to talk to the Snow Queen...they hung on every word.  It was so precious!
And speaking of precious this little one is too cute for words.  She is growing up so quickly too and now my little baby is becoming a big girl.  I hope to capture all these changing faces and smiles any chance I get.

Happy November...now for some turkey time!!
