First day of school!

Okay so forgive me because I am learning the new setting on this blog and I thought as I was posting away that the pictures would post completely opposite of how they did.  And considering I am being lazy I just don't feel like changing it so it once again may take me narrating the pictures to understand what is going on since they are completely backwards in all ways possible.  I can't believe that it is that time of the year again and that it actually affects me for the first time in a long time!!  I have a schooler now!!  I am happy and sad about it at the same time.  I am so proud that she is enjoying school and really loves her class and has the sweetest teacher on earth!!  Yet to see her get out of the car and walk away no problem is a little saddening for me.  I guess it is the better alternative than kicking and screaming but still sad all the same.  Addie Blaire is learning so much already her letters and numbers and each week because it is a Christian school they have chapel and learn to a Bible memory verse.  She is already got those down pat.  She even impressed her grandparents the other day at "Grandparents day" and corrected Mrs. Nations when she got one of the verses wrong!!  This entry is for my little smarty pants....

One last hurrah before school, trying out the go carts with daddy.
Addie Blaire and Mrs. Nations

Poor thing the sun was so bright, we were actually a little late for school the first day, (hey, this school thing is hard on the parents too) so we didn't have much time for pictures.

She actually wanted to do this even though it looks like I totally put her up to it.  She is very proud of all her school accessories.  Mommy searched high and low for some different stuff for her this year and she got to pick out her own.
I found these lunchboxes and they are the best!!!  She loved the cupcake and I loved that they rinse right off and thus far has been great size for lunches!
This year they needed a certain kind of nap mat for school.
These next pictures are taken of Addie Blaire trying to show Brit how to crawl.  She doesn't need much help these days because she is a speed demon but sister couldn't help but want to show her the ropes.

She asked to be a model so we took many shots that day for her to look at and it was pretty comical but I won't try and post them all.

Brit just getting the hang of it, now I know why they put so much cute stuff on these little booties, who can resist a cute shot like that.
These picture is being posted for the soul purpose of proof that mommy learned how to french braid!!  It took a while and a few tears but we did it.  Now I may never do it again but now proof that it can be done exists!
I babysat Mason for a little while one day and he was such a big help with Brit.  He does some major loving her that bald head.  We love you mas dog!!
Picture for a day at the water park with our friend Kate.  She is cute as a bug and Addie loves to act like the big girl, too bad she is only 6 months younger than her so she doesn't need the help.
This picture was supposed to be shown before the school pictures because this is from Addie Blaire's last day of summer freedom.  She and I had a mommy and me day and we went for a pedi!!  This was her first real pedi, with clippers and the whole nine yards.  She really didn't know what to think but laughed through it all!  We spent the day playing in the mall, getting pictures in a photo booth (always a good laugh) and going to the movies to see the Smurf's.  It was a great day and one I will remember for a long time especially because as we were walking through the mall being silly she looked up at me and said "mommy, you are  a really good mommy"!  Still makes my heart melt.  Better words have never nor will ever be spoken!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lastly,  Sorry Raegan I should have posted this earlier but since you check out the blog I wanted you to see a cute pic i got of the kiddos on the boat this summer.  I was so glad my old friend got to come spend the day on the lake with us!!  Old friends can never be replaced, they are some of my dearest friends still today!!

Times with Nana and Pop

For those of you that follow the blog (which I sometimes wonder who would really want to considering the rambling that takes place here most of the time!) this will probably be the most unorganized, longest and somewhat confusing post to date.  The reason is because my mother finally gave me some pictures that she has had on her camera for well, let's just say sometime considering you may think that some of the pictures of a wee one are Britann, but instead little Addie Blaire.  However, for those that always try to compare the two girls this post will serve you well in seeing Addie at 1 year and now Britann.  I couldn't help but want to post some of these many pictures she gave me because each serves as a memory and also a reminder of the times my girls have shared with my parents.  Mitch and I always give my parents a hard time about why my girls love to go to their house so much.  We keep saying what could you possibly be doing that is so much fun without ever leaving the house that keeps them wanting to come back!!  Well after a few sorta tears as I looked over the photos one word comes to mind: love, pure and simple basic immeasurable love!!  I can see it in the girls faces and in the simple pleasures that they enjoy while there.  So for all those moments that may not seem blog worthy to some this one is for my girls....
Once again I may have to put some captions out because these are in no particular order at all!!

Britann and I spending the night in a chair at the hospital during the worst snow storm in recent history in Arkansas waiting for little Lila to make an appearance.
This is the jeep that my grandpa Fowler owned years ago when I was a little girl that my dad has bought back and now takes the girls and I for rides, when the guys aren't hogging it.  This is from the day he brought it home.  There are other pictures to come of rides in this jeep.  This is Addie Blaire trying it out for the first time.
First piece of corn on the cob (Addie at about 12 months) one difference that is apparent between the girls is the lack there of on Brit Brit of these golden locks!!  Sorry baby.
At my sister's rehearsal dinner on the mountain with the flower girl, Addie!
At one of my sister's showers, with Addie and my grandmother Bass.
more recently from the farm with the girls, i have so many of my baby pictures taken at the farm with my grandfather so these pictures are pretty cool to carry on.  this was our picnic with pop.
This is a picture of Addie with daddy doing her imitation of a horse jockey. As you know Mitch is a fan of the races and he is passing his love on to now both the girls.  They get to ride the pony with all the commentary just like at the track.
Addie Blaire made some new friends at Bible school this year with my mom.
Another more recent jeep pic, can you tell we had just woken up!
I can remember several picture of my sister and I like this on my dad and now to see my girls it is pretty cool.  The only difference sorry dad but a little more hair on the head back then!
At Bible school Addie had the pleasure of meeting one of my all time favorite sweetest woman I know, Mrs. Duncan my 1st grade teacher.
This is ritual at my parent's every morning when we wake up Addie helps Pop fix breakfast.  She is really getting good too, she now can crack the eggs for Pop (and without any shell!)
My mom and Addie presented me with this flower for mother's day that they had worked on one afternoon while I was gone, and I think it might be the only living plant in our yard right now so good work guys!
Brit Brit!
Big sis is really trying to help but that television sure is tempting.
Brit Brit again.
Little Brit was so sleepy,  how stinkin cute is that.
Pop has bough Addie and he several different projects to work on and this is one of them, a nice little pirate ship that they built together.
For any of my friends from way back you may remember "the bear"  this is Addie in her favorite place in my old room.  Still looks the same as when I lived there.
Over the years my mom kept all my old toys and one of Addie's favorites is these blocks.  Well she always attempt to stack them as we cheer her on found these two comparison from the past few years...
getting pretty good.
Now to conclude with some pictures that I just got from our session with Melanie.  We got some cute ones of the girls I think.
