November and Color Run!

It's been one busy month and there are no signs of it slowing down anytime soon.  Addie Blaire has been one busy girl and we are just trying to keep up with her and all her activities!  She has started to cheer at school for the basketball team and she has several fans already...

Nana and Pop came down to watch
and even cousin Mason spent the weekend with us and got to come to a game.
Mason, Addie Blaire and Britann hanging out at the country club one night while Mason was staying with us for the weekend.
Daddy and Britann helped out at the church unloading pumpkins galore for the Pumpkin patch at church this past month.
The whole family got to go to the Little Rock game a few weeks back.  The girls did such a good job in the game.  I was worried because this was Britann's first game of the season but she did great with the help of some popcorn and dippin dots we made it all the way through the game!

I just love these girls!
The girls and Mrs. Sharon
We even ran into cousin Mason at the game.
and cousin Lindsey was there too!
True Hog fans!

This is my little craft project that I just finished.  I am kinda proud of myself because my grandmother had given me some furniture that was my mom's when she was small and I have just begun to refinish them.  This was my first piece to attempt and I think it turned out pretty well considering..  I am so excited that the girls will have these pieces in their rooms for years to come.
Addie Blaire got to go to her very first sleepover party!!  She had so much fun and didn't want to come home.  The party started off with a spa makeover for all the girls where they got their hair done, nails and a pedi and then cake.  After that they headed to Peyton's house for a night of games and goodies.  So proud of my big girl!!
Pretty pretty!
While we were there I decided to have Tara cut little Brit's hair but my mom just happened to be staying with us and she had the poor girl so scared to cut any of her curls that she barely had enough to give me for a keepsake.  She wasn't a big fan as you can tell!  Hopefully that will change..

All the girls showing off their awesome styles
This is a picture of the girls that the mom sent me with them playing games that night.
Addie Blaire's Kindergarten pictures!! (I just took a picture of the proof until the order comes in this will have to do)  This is soo big I can't believe I have a big girl now! I have to brag on her because her dad and I just went to her parent/ teacher conference and the teacher had nothing but praises for this sweet little girl.  She said she was doing a good job with all her work and knew all her letters and numbers for the most part.  She was very proud of her accomplishments but the thing that she seemed to be most impressed with was her sweet nature and caring ways.  This was the part that had me and daddy almost in tears because the teacher herself was in tears.  She went on to give us examples of how caring she is to the others in her class and how the class always is looking out for her as well.  The story that comes to mind was about a little girl in the class that one day at naptime was asleep and some of the other kids in class were laughing at her because her booty crack was showing.  The teacher said that she watched as AB told the other kids to quit making fun of her and then she proceeded to get up off her mat and go pull up the girl's covers over her.  She said a few days later that she noticed AB quietly get up off her mat and before the other kids had noticed she covered the little girl up again so the other kids didn't see that her booty was showing again.  This is the sweet girl that I am so proud of more so because of stories like these than any academic achievements she has made so far this year!

A fall picture that Lashonda sent me one morning. I had to post this because she would never sit there a take a picture for me like that.
The girls and I spent the weekend with Aunt T, Lila and Nana.  No trip to Little Rock is complete without a trip to Target.  The girls had as much fun as the moms did.

The next morning Terri and I got up early to make the color run.  It was a good time, but we were a little unprepared for all the excitement... there is always next year though!
Pre race photos, we had layered up so that we could peel over a layer of color to avoid the mess.
It was a wild time, with lots of colorful rainbows all around.
This really doesn't do the experience justice.  We had already wiped ourselves down just to get in the car.
We also got to stop by and see cousin Mason and Max.  Big cousin AB got her first chance to hold cuz.

Halloween!

The Halloween week started out with some birthday party fun at cousin Lydia's house.  It started out with a little bobbin for apples and then on to a hayride.  The girls were excited to get to dress in costumes for the night too.
 Successful bobbing..

 Cinderella makes an entrance.
The same week we had a fall festival at school.  Addie Blaire had a great time playing games and hanging out with friends.  I worked the cake walk and it was so much fun getting to watch all the kids dance around.  I had as much fun as the kids did I think.
There was even a photo booth for the kids.

 Darby, Addie Blaire and Addison
 The whole class!
That weekend before Halloween the church decided to do a fall festival this year.  Usually we do a trunk or treat on Halloween night so this was the first year to try something different.  I think all the kids had a good time got to dress up once again!
 Addie Blaire and Bailey
 Addie Blaire and Peyton
WE even got to do a little trick or treating a couple of days early.
Thanks to daddy who found the maze making material and the other men that built it we were able to have lots of fun making our way through.  It turned out so well and all the kids had a blast trying to find there way through.  Even Britann was able to make her way through!

Britann and Makalya she is always so good to help out with the girls.
Britan jumped right in there and made her way around the games all by herself.
We had another funfilled hayride that afternoon.

My little pirate and bumble bee!

That bee looks like she is up to something!

That is the sweetest little pirate I've ever seen.
Addie Blaire has started to cheer at school for the basketball team and she is really getting into the swing of things.  She has got the moves down and boy are they some vocal cheerleaders!

THe squad, or at least of the majority of the 37 of them!

 Opening Nana's Halloween bag.

 Boo!

This picture needs some explanation because this sweet girl sold her heart out for this check she is holding.  She sold almost 40 loaves of braided bread!  She went to all the tables at the country club all by herself and sold so much bread that she won 2nd place and $50  at school!!  She said that she even got to go on stage and get her check in front of everyone.  She was sooo proud that I would have sold more bread if I had known how happy she would be.  I asked if she was going to spend it or save it and without hesitation she said "what does save mean, I think I will spend it!" I am one proud mama and now the school gets even more playground equipment.
Ahoy mates!  This bubble bee and pirate are ready for some trick or treating.

All the grandkids at mamaw's that night.  Aren't they just the prettiest bunch of kiddos?

The kids with mamaw that evening.  She had decided and told her kids that this year would be different.  She wanted to dress up for Halloween like a princess because she knew all the greats would love it.  She knew exactly what dress in her closet to wear and had Katie Ella loan her a crown.  She looked like the most beautiful princess I have seen in a while.  The kids all thought it was really neat.  I guess for all of us adults it meant soo much more because I know that this will be her last Halloween with us and to see that she embraces it, well I wish we all got it like that and lived each year like it was our last.

 Mamaw and Mitch

Nicki and Pop with the grankids and greats.
After we stopped by mamaw's we headed over to a neighborhood bonfire. We did some roasting and trick or treating via or 3rd hayride of the season.  The girls had a great time with all their friends, I hope we can make this a yearly tradition.
