B's 6th Bday!

Such a fun party for my baby girl this year.  Since B had broken her arm not long before her birthday in September I decided to ask her what she wanted to do for her birthday this year.  We could either have the party with the cast on or wait until it came off and celebrate then and she chose to wait which so happened to fall perfectly in time for Halloween.  We talked about a Halloween costume party where her friends could all dress up and play good old fashioned games.  And thus the ideas began to flow from her little mind.  And it all happened just two days after that final cast came off!
We decided on an outdoor party since the weather had been so good that weekend.  And we enlisted some help from my sister to get it all set up.
And this little Alana of Avalor was thrilled!

There were cookies and cupcakes and we even had a caramel apple station where the kids could decorate their own caramel apples with all the good stuff!

Cousins and best friends these four girls!!

My little mad hatter was just as excited as the birthday girl.
All the kiddos started off by decorating their very own pumpkins.

They did such a great job!

Popcorn mummy hands made for a great take home treat as well!

The girls even decorated the punch for me...fingers and all!

and then we had the brains and eyes and all other kids of gross things for the kiddos to feel.

Their faces were hilarious as they tried to decide what they had their hands on.
The big girls really went all out on their pumpkins.
Aunt T did a great job of playing the part of co host.
But I think the biggest hit of the party was when this big awkward looking chicken made and appearance!  I must say I had a hard time keeping the camera straight from giggling!
Love this dad and how he embraces his girls and does whatever he can to make them smile...mom included!
After all the other activities we gathered the kiddos up for a little painitng.  They were to make their very own hand witch.  You should have seen how cool some of these things turned out!

I was so impressed with all the thought they put into their paintings and it will make a nice keepsake for the parents one day too!
The princess even sings1
Time to celebrate the birthday girl...one last time this year!!

A little early in the post but a little after party present opening took place and it was madness as you can see.
Whose that guy?  Too funny these crazy kids...
A bunch of cute kids...and a chicken!  No words this guy keeps us laughing.

Love this man...costume and all.  And yes this was the best i could do at the last minute running around.  Maybe next year...I will be the egg!
And before everyone could leave we gave them a little hayride spin through the neighborhood.

It was a fun day with all our family and friends to celebrate our baby girl.  Happy Birthday to our one of a kind, keeps up laughing, keeps us on our toes, precious B!
