Tball time!

Well, another tball season has come to a close and we made it through!  I say that only because my child had about as much enthusiasm for the game as a cat does for water!  She actually wasn't even going to play but as she has been sure to tell everyone that will listen "her mom signed her up anyway" and even better the league was short on coaches so guess who got to help coach-good ole Mitchell!  He was so thrilled to have the chance to coach, Addie Blaire I right this knowing that isn't completely true so don't be heartbroken when you read this someday!  However, and this is a big part of the story... she ended up having a really good time and so did dear old dad.  Trevor and Mitch both did a great job coaching and the kids had a blast in the process.  The "pixie chicks" were some ball hitting and base running little girls.  I am so proud of how our team played and how well we were received by all the parents.  Jodi and Trevor definitely took the lead and Mitch and I did our best to help out.   So here's to another year and seeing if I can pull it off next season...
Real men wear pink!  Coach Mitch and the girls.
                                                             Team "Pixie Chicks"!
One of AB's favorite things about tball the after game snacks!
Nicki and Pop were by far one of our most loyal fan club members!  They came to every game and practice for that matter! Bobo and Sharon were there for most of the games as well!  This kid had quite the following.
My little hitter, she really did a great job hitting that ball this year, and that's without much practice on our part.

Coach Mitch was always there to lend a hand helping the girls to do there best at the plate. Look at that swing!
AB got to play first base several times this year and that was the most excited I think I saw her.  I guess it didn't take long for her to figure out that is where all the action was and she was ready!
Now that is some kind of lineup...
Pop and Nana came down for a game to watch our little baller and so did "G."
She picked "8" still not sure on her reasoning but knowing AB there was one!

A little impromptu team photo, great season girls!
