Britann's 3rd birthday ICEE party!

Your invited to join us for the coolest, funniest ICEE party ever (I say this with such confidence because I am pretty sure it might be the only ICEE party anyone has ever had :)  Britann was asked by her mother exactly what kind of party she would like this year and without hesitation she said "an Icee party" now whether this was because that is her single most favorite thing on earth or because she is just that brilliant I am not sure all I know is that it was up to me to make it happen after that.  I must say finding anything on my pinterest, or etsy sights was nearly impossible so I was just about to give up when my first internet search...found this the cutest little ICEE ever!
can you argue??  I mean if that smile isn't the cutest thing ever, she was sooo excited the day her shirt came in that she had to wear it.  I guess that she really did know what she wanted and the party ideas just sort of went from there.
and then to top it off Sharon found out that she just so happened to know the district manager for ICEE.  She was able to secure one of the best party favors ever(well at least for an ICEE party) an ICEE polar bear for everyone to take home!!

All in Good Taste bakery also did an awesome job on the cake for the party.  I couldn't believe they were able to replicate a real live ICEE on top.  How awesome is that!!
I am just amazed at the talent of some people...how cool is that!
We even had ICEE cupcakes for the kiddos to match.
And here are just a few pics from the party...

Cousins, these three had the best time just waiting for the party to start.

Awww, finally after daddy's trip to the store or stores everyone was rewarded with a gigantic ICEE!!

Britann and her buddy Afton.
These two are definitely up to something, they always are!
Pure heaven for this kiddo!!  She was having the best time...

Time to blow out all those candles.. all three of them!!  I can't believe it to some that doesn't sound like a big deal but to this momma it is huge my baby girl is growing up.  I can't believe how fast time flies so for now I will just continue to blog and post all of these pictures so that I just like the girls will never forget these memories or these sweet smiles and unending giggles that lasted the entire day!

After cake we got to take a little ride on the coolest train ever.  The church recently bought this train from the college and we borrowed it for a few spins through the neighborhood.  The kids had a blast and I think Mitch enjoys driving them more than he would probably admit either.

G and Brit

Present time...and what did she get well, a slurpee machine, of course.

But what happened after that is what might go down as the cutest moment of the entire party.  One guest even said they actually enjoyed watching her open her presents which rarely ever happens at a party because Britann proceeded, just like you would at a baby shower to go around the room and show everyone her gift.  I really don' t know what made her do this or if she had even seen this before but she literally took each and every gift around to each person and she refused to move on until that person had acknowledged the gift.  She was like a little Vanna White showing off all her goodies....precious!
See I speak the truth..she really didn't miss a gift.
Love this sweet baby doll of mine that keeps me on my toes, and in constant motion.  Life simply wouldn't be the same without her in it!
Wynn, Julia and Lydia,  full of sugar and with bear in tow...
Zack, Britann and Chandler.  She misses these boys and Shonda everyday.
Nicki and Pop with the birthday girl.
Sharon, Bobo and one happy, sugar filled birthday girl!
And after all the guest had left mom and I decided to give the train a try.  I must say that my knees at my chest made for a little discomfort but sooo much fun!

A happy ending to a very happy day at our house...Happy 3rd Birthday little Brit.  We love you to the moon and back...you truly are the "ICEE-ing" on the cake for all of us!
