The Little Rock Zoo!

Here are a few pictures from Addison Blaire's first trip to the Little Rock Zoo. She had a really good time. She loves animals and to her everything seemed to be a "duck." We will have to work on that for the next trip!

Addie Blaire with King Kong!

I thought this picture was so funny because it looks like the bear is coming for Addie and she doesn't even notice it (don't worry mom there was glass there!)

It was a little hot so we went for a train ride, little did I know it would only be for like 2 minutes. I was looking for a little break from the heat for a little longer than that!

Cheesing for the camera, she is getting pretty good at that!

Mason driving the train, he should know how because he watches Thomas do it all the time!

This was the gorillas, I had to take a picture of the precious little baby one. He was really cute.

I can't remember the name of this one, but he looked so relaxed and that face is so funny.

Okay so this is my favorite pic of the day. It looks like Addie Blaire is actually aware that she is under the snake. It is actually a little freaky looking back at it now. Maybe that wasn't the best idea to position her under a python (don't worry mom once again there was glass there too!)

Addie Blaire and Mason checking out the alligator.

I just wanted to show off my photography skills, pretty good huh (check out the tongue.) Actually I would like to take credit for this but Terri actually took it. She is a my mentor in photography.

A weekend of visiting in LR!

Mitch spent the weekend golfing, so Addie Blaire and I decided to get out of town for the weekend. We spent the weekend in Little Rock and had a great time visiting with friends and family. We went Friday afternoon to see Jennifer Avery and her two boys Garrett and Huck. We spent Friday night with Aunt Terri and Uncle Bracy. They took us to dinner and Addie met their newest addition "Buford ". I forgot to take any pics of him, but he is so cute and a very active little lab puppy! Saturday morning we went to Jessica Vaught's house to visit Hallie Laura and Robbie (once again forgot to take pics of those two cuties!) We spent Saturday night with Aunt Brandee, Uncle Mark, and Mason. Sunday morning Aunt Terri went with us to the zoo!! I think I had as much fun as Addie Blaire did!!

Addie Blaire and Garrett getting to know each other.

Addie Blaire is still learning how to share her toys, she still needs a little work in that area!!

Hanging out with cousin Mason (they were watching Nemo.) Addie Blaire even got the word Nemo down and didn't quit saying it all night!! She is our little mime, so I need to start watching what I am saying around her!!

A tickle session with Aunt Brandee. She is so ticklish!!!

Addie Blaire didn't understand that this was Mason's train table she couldn't reach all the toys like him so she decided to do something about it and next thing I knew she was on top of the table. I guess whatever works for you sister!!!

Addison Blaire takes to the Road!

Addison Blaire has really started to get a little closer to walking. I know she is a little behind and I blame myself because I just can't put her down. So in order to build up some endurance I have started to let her take off in the walker to build up her leg strength. She lover going up and down the street greeting all the neighbors!

Here she is gearing up for the exercise session, Goldfish are great for energy (or at least she thinks so!)
She is heading out the driveway to hit the road running!

Sometimes Dad has to give her a push start, she needs a little inspiration to get her going.

The first of many trips through the neighborhood. She really knows how to roll in her Jeep!!

14 month pics!

Our little girl is getting so big (literally actually) she is starting to say so many things and getting around so much better lately. She loves to say Zoe, that is her favorite word right now. She can say "Mommy, Daddy, night night, Bobo, Nana, Pop, Ma (for Mason), bye, hi, milk, juice, Darby, dog, duck, book, car, and several other words. She is signing a few things like eat and drink. She also can recognize animals by their names like if you say pig she goes and gets her pig and then she can make some of the animal sounds to go with that animal. It is so much fun seeing all the new things she is starting to recognize. Addie Blaire is still not walking yet, but she is getting around really well. She can move from one thing to the next in no time and she is taking a few steps on her own. However, now that she finally got that crawling thing down she is really quite fond of it. She is starting to crawl around with her legs straight in the air and no knees touching, hence the pics below. She also loves to dance and sing twinkle twinkle oh and she just learned to say "eieio" she gets it out most of the time without getting tongue tied!

That hair I don't know what we are going to do about it. I can't keep it out of her eyes, but I am not ready to cut it yet!!

I figured I would give a shout out to Zoe on the blog, since she is Addie Blaire's favorite friend. She has been so good with Addie Blaire and hasn't once snapped at her, which is very surprising since I caught her pulling plugs of hair off Zoe's back the other morning. Zoe is a good dog and I know she is depressed considering her whole world changed when Addie Blaire arrived so she is dealing with it fairly well, especially with a little help from medication!!! Just kidding, (well sort of!)
The "new and improved" crawl!

Bathtime fun!

Addie Blaire loves her bath time. She is starting to treat the bath tub like a swimming pool these days. She will lay on her belly and try and swim from one end to the other. And surprise, surprise her favorite bath toy is her ducks. She has like 10 differnet ones that she likes to play with in the tub.

Addison Blaire and Raygan and Rhett Rabb

Addie Blaire and Raygan eating at Fisherman's Wharf.

Raygan was so good with her,and Addie Blaire loved all the attention.

Collins Gentry and Addison Blaire

Addie Blaire and Collins were trying out the golf course to spend some quality time with their dads.
Collins seemed to enjoy his time on the golf course he is going to be just like his daddy one day.
It was so hot outside so this was the early morning walk we took in our pjs to get out of the house.
Collins enjoying the park in Hope.
Addison Blaire pushing her car, she still loves to walk behind it but not quite there with the walking.
