Spring time
Mitch and I decided to take Addie Blaire to Garvin Gardens for some tulip pictures and it was such a beautiful surprise. I had never been before this time of year and tulips are my favorite flower maybe because my birthday is in April so my mom has always gotten them for me but I think they are beautiful. I think Addie Blaire had a great time running through all the flowers and we probably owe Garvin Gardens a few extra dollars because unfortunately we took home a bouquet of them that she picked!!

She loved these huge goldfish in the pond. I guess we need to talk to the Gentrys and get the hook up on some of those.

Spring Break
I decided to take a few days off the week of spring break to take Addie Blaire somewhere for her own little trip. We went to Little Rock to visit Aunt T, Uncle B, Aunt Bran, and Mason. We had such a good time. I was in need of some time away from work and spending time with her was just what I needed. I am enjoying her so much these days because she is so verbal and it is like having my little buddy with me all the time that just is so happy and always up for anything. We went to hang out with my friend Laci and her little baby boy, Mason. He is the cutest thing with that curly hair. I can believe how much he has grown since we saw him last. It was great to get to see them both.

I took Addie Blaire to Cupcakes on Kavenaugh after lunch. She wanted Sissie to come with us so she could have "cake" too. (She has named her two dolls Sissie and Lulu. I am not sure where she got "Lulu" but it is pretty catchy.) She couldn't get enough of the cupcake. I thought I would get a bite but I was wrong it looked really good though.

Addie Blaire and I went to visit my aunt at the public library where she works in Little Rock. She even showed Addie Blaire how to check out her first set of books. She also gave us a tour of the new history museum which was really interesting.

We took the kids to Playtime pizza and it was a crazy place full of kiddos and loud music. The kids were still a little young for most of it but we had a great time.

Dancing with the big kids
We took the kids to Jumpzone and had a blast. I can honestly say that I think I had as much fun as the kiddos did. I had to get in with Addie Blaire because she is still a little too small for it all. But I think Terri, Brandee, and I were the only parents in there with all the kids playing like we were one of them. I can't wait to go back! I was so glad to get to play with her doing something that we could both have fun together.
It looks like I was so scared in this picture I realize, but what actually happened is that some kid came flying down the slide and right as Terri was taking the picture he was nailing me in the back with his feet! (I never realized how dangerous jumpzone could be)
This is me and Addie Blaire on the way into this jungle like thing. It got pretty ugly after that, Brandee and I were laughing so hard trying to get out of this thing. I didn't know what to do at one point we were sitting in there with the kids and making an escape plan when two kids walked up and said "mommies what are you doing in here" it was pretty funny because we were wondering the same thing!
Aunt Bran and Mason
Addie Blaire decided that she wanted to give it a try on her own. She squealed the whole way down!!
A little pile up at the bottom of the slide!
We went to the zoo on Friday with Aunt T, Uncle B, Aunt Bran, and Mason. This time she was so much more involved with the animals. She really does know all of her animals now. She can say basically every animals name now. So it was fun to see her yelling out "snake or monkey" each time she saw one. However, after leaving whenever anyone asked her what she saw at the zoo all she ever says is the "elephant went peepee and poopoo" because we witnessed the craziest thing and I guess I was in such shock over the amount of waste that came out of this animal that that is all she remembers! Checking out the lizards, she still says "lizards scary" I tried to put the fear of snakes and lizards into her so she would stay away if she ever sees one.

Daddy's new golf cart!
Mitch got a new golf cart (or at least a used golf cart that is new to us!) Since his other one had been out of commission, Addie Blaire and Zoe are both excited for trips around the neighborhood in the afternoons!
Alligators!
We decided while we were in Hot Springs that since Mason had never been to the alligator farm we should all go. It was a lot of fun but a little boring considering the majority of them were still in hibernation. Although looking back maybe I prefer it that way! We did actually get to pet a baby alligator and it was pretty cool.
Giving "g' some love!
Why do I feel like maybe this guy woke up early because he smelled a meal coming on?

I don't know who was more scared to get close Mitch or Addie Blaire?! These babies were already awake because they said that since they are smaller their body temperature rises faster. (interesting fact i thought.)

Gone fishing!
We had a great weekend at the lake a couple of weeks ago and Addie Blaire is certainly ready for the warmer weather and so am I to be honest! We tried a few activities for the first time with her. Here she is fishing with her dad. I thought she was going to be a little scared of the fish, but boy was I wrong. She wanted to look at it and hold it. She even grabbed the fish from Mark and was holding it looking at it eye to eye!!! too cute! I then told her the fishy had to go back in the water and swim and she walked over to the edge and tossed him back in. My little girl is growing up so fast. She understands so much more than I even realize most of the time, I am just realizing how I have to enjoy every moment of it and remember it. I guess that is why I am so glad I have started this blog to be able to look back at these memories that at the time may be somewhat insignificant, but in years to come will make me smile to see!

I just can't get over this picture, it is too cute!!
Addie Blaire is finally running some, but it is somewhat comical!! Brandee compared it to the Chinese army!! She kind of runs like a solider with straight legs. She is so cute she has to slow herself down because she just can't control her legs once she gets going too fast.

Bob the Builder meets Addie Blaire!
Becky and I took Addie Blaire and Katie Ella to see Bobo the Builder in Texarkana last week. She really had a great time. As soon as we stepped into the theatre she screamed in excitement! She loved seeing all the kids and fun stuff they had set up. I wasn't sure if she was ready for a program like that yet, but she really surprised me by watching the whole thing and even clapping along. The only hard part was the 2j0 minute intermission which is when we took most of the pictures to pass the time! Now that I know how she did I can't wait for Disney on Ice!

Addie Blaire finds the way to Zoe's Heart
We went to church a couple of weeks ago with my parents to watch Sallie get baptized and afterwards my parents took us to eat. Addie Blaire loved the corn on the cob, but her favorite treat to eat with Pop is M&Ms. They bonded over them and she continues to know just where to go to get some M&M's when she wants them!

Okay so our condo if finally finished!!! Yeah, we are back to the spa city. I am really excited to have it back, maybe because making all the decisions was a little stressful for me. However, I am really excited with the way it turned out. I just had to include a picture of the kitchen, I will include more once we get all of our furniture that I have been acquiring over the past several months while it had to be rebuilt.
So the other day I was walking into the kitchen and I noticed that Zoe's bowl had some dog food in it. I thought that was weird because I hadn't given her any lately. Then I noticed Addie Blaire coming out of the pantry with a handful of dog food. She loves going and getting Zoe food and putting it in her bowl. I guess she knows there is no better way to Zoe's heart than food!
