It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas time is so busy and it is hard to keep straight what we did in a matter of weeks but here is my best attempt, only 7 months late!  HA!
AB and her friends had a sock exchange...

B danced it up under the mistletoe at Garven Gardens with Dance City

The crew all there to support her dancing around the Christmas tree.
Last day of school and Christmas Pjs ...check!

A little gift for all her friends!

A little more elf fun as these two took to the open waters!
I have no idea what this picture is all about..jsut saying!
A little fun with the hometown crew for an ugly sweater party at the Wilson's.  The girls and I drove in on Thursday night and were back on the road early the next morning for their last day at school.  It was so good to see everyone and we had so much fun!
The girls were catching up just like the parents!
Work party...tradition of wearing Christmas dresses and embarrassing ourselves at the movies..check!  WE did see the new foster parent movie and it was awesome!
A night with the family taking in the wonders of Garvin Gardens.  There really is no place like it at Christmas time!

The Arlington at Christmas...check out this gingerbread house!

Then we started the holidays off at Nana and Pop's for a night with the family and some Christmas caroling with the neighbors.

The girls went around spreading good cheer to all Nana and Pop's neighbors...they loved it, I mean the girls but I am pretty sure the neighbors did too!

And then it was present time..everyone's favorite.

Caboodles for everyone!! Who knew those would make a comback 30 years later??Why didn't I think of that!

Nana always seems to get lots of help opening her presents.

Nana trying to figure out what she got for Chirstmas...
She figured it out...tickets to see the Beach Boys in Little Rock with friends!

And Pop got his very own print of the infamous Fisher-Fowler bridge in Friendship.  I saw this done and just knew he needed one for his own.  This bridge was named after my great (great?) grandfather and now no longer exists in the same form.  Pop still remembers every piece of wood and where he use to jump off of this into the CaddoRiver as a boy.  I hope this brings him as much joy as all the memories of time spent in Friendship.
That next morning we headed down to Hope to spend some time with Pop and Nicki and the other Bobo girls!

The famous Santa Sacks were a big hit again this year as they are every year!!
It was good to see these two we have missed them now that we don't live so close.  I am grateful for the times we get to spend with all these sweet faces!
WE returned back to Hot Springs just in time to attend the Christmas Eve service.

Then we headed back home to change into Pjs and meet G at her house for some late night pizza after she got off work.  We even enjoyed a few gifts before bedtime.

B came back home and got right to work preparing everything for the big guy that was to arrive that night.  She spread all her Reindeer food across the yard.
A little note to send these two on their way..until next year guys!
She had even made a little note to God...brings me tears of joy...I pray these girls remember the true reason for Chirstmas!
And then it was time for the big guy to make his apprearance...the tree fit pretty well in the new place this year...a bit different but still just as special.
A note from the elves...
All the goodies left by the tree...

Even Charlie got a treat!

Dad even got some cool new gear!
B's Lemonade stand is open for Business...can you tell she is a bit excited.  We decided this summer she is going to have a stand by water...we think it will be the newest hit on the lake this year!

Per tradition I promised the girls that are gifts would come in the form of a scavenger hunt.  I have done this for many years but this year, as you can tell by my weak clues, it was a little late when I got started so please don't judge my rhyming abilities!

Just a little side note to future potential guests...we have updated the guest suite just a bit...it at least not longer requires inflating!

The girls both got a computer this year..it was their main gift and I can honestly say they both use them all the time.  The new school require homework by electronics so this has been very useful for many reasons.

A few obligatory Christmas photos..

AB got her a new volleyball sweatshirt
Then the cousins showed up and we really got the holidays started with some more presents and lots of activities on a beautiful Christmas afternoon.

Sheshe had requested school apparel from all the kids so she had something to wear to their games.
Game night...
Trying out their new wheels...
and finding new treasures..

And these two were in a battle..unfortunately AB didn't last long.  Mason was on a roll!

Now on to a tour of North Arkansas and some good fun at Big Cedar!
