We started our summer at family farm for a week of fun with these kiddos! B had a great time hanging out with friends all day and we even had some familiar faces with the Coffee crew.
My last duty for the college was to come back and put on my final concert. I must admit it was fun to come back after a month gone and it was fun to meet some legendary entertainers. The night was off to a great start and we had a really good crowd.
Johnny lee and Mickey Gilley
My crew listening to the Yellow Rose of Texas
One of my favorites, Buddy Jewell. He is such a sweet guy and has done a great job every time he has performed, the fans love him!
Roadies..Ha!
A little watermelon mania on Saturday before we headed home.
The next week we were off to our first official Lakeside open house!
I can't believe this cutie is starting the 2nd grade!
Her new favorite, Mrs. Cowen...she was such a wonderful teacher this year!
And our big girl was off to middle school...A great year with Ms. McAlister!
Blessing of the backpacks at church on Sunday!
And just like that we were off to a new school and a brand new school year! But we still have a few of our favorite things....
We pulled up to a dance party that first day at the middle school which seemed to help take away the nerves!
Plus Mrs. Angie was there to lead her in...thankful for sweet friends who watch out for my babies!
And little B was ready to rule the school!
First practice with AB's Rising Rams volleyball team.
And a great end to a first day....we needed this peace after that pick up line...luckily, I am getting the hang of it now but those first few days were brutal!!
Sad to see the dog days of summer coming to an end, but excited for a great year!
New student orientation lunch
And AB's first cotillion!! She was not excited at the thought of dancing with boys but the dressing up she didn't seem to mind at all!
She said her favorite part was the cookies and punch!! HA!!
Nutcracker tryouts for both girls this year...we got one mouse and one party girl!
A little mall b-day party for the win!
This one right here was so excited for her cheerleading suit!! She couldn't wait to wear it to school on Friday!
A little neighborhood get together to cleebrate football season with some good food and fellowship!
Labor day weekend started off with a bang when the man that owned this slide on the lake that my kids have been dying to go down offered them a spin!
Enjoyed have the Rhodes crew with us that weekend for some good lake times!
The Hill family even spent the day with us, watching Josh try to paddleboard might have been the highlight for us all.
Now off to more fall festivities as I attempt to get caught up on this blog!
