I let her plan every bit of the party this year and we went with an Emoji/ Rainbow themed party. It went against everything I believe in going with this theme if you know how I "used" to be about my parties. But this girl picked out all her decor and her cake and loved every second of it. So I guess as long as she is happy I am happy!
WE started the party a day early at the fair in town. The cousins came down and we went for a quick whirl around the park.
Then finished the night with some Mexican food and as always a Sombrero!
The party table was ready to go..now for the friends to arrive!
First stop was the bowling alley!!
Then we headed back to the house for some cake!
and lake time which was spent on the mat, on the tube and on land!! These girls were living it up!
Add in a little dish soap and things really getting slippery!
B wanted to have several balloons to pop with activities inside so these girls kept the party going all afternoon.
The birthday girl was livin her best life!!
Even little June got in on all the action!
The party ended with a boat drop off for all the young ladies and dinner by the lake with the family!
And I almost forgot...all these awesome party favors, handpicked by Brit!
Nana got her just what she needed a rain coat...drop off at school will be much better now.
On B's actual birthday I had the pleasure of dining with this crazy crew!
We even got to sit on the stage!
That night to celebrate we got her ears pierced! She had been asking to do it for her bday this year and that was all she wanted so we caved and let her do it. She was so brave!!
But still a bit skeptical...
As always, dad was a great champion and helped to ease her mind!
All smiles and no tears for this birthday girl! Happy 8th bday little B!!!!!!
And then the next day was AB's picture day so she got all dressed up for yearbook photos!
That weekend we made it home for a night to celebrate with the Wilson crew a few special birthday kiddos!!
Just a little photo from my first Summit Conference with The CALL. I was so excited to have the opportunity to speak at several breakouts. it is always so much fun to meet new faces and see all that is being done across the state!
Now bring on some cooler weather!!
