Baby Lila's Shower

My sister, Terri is having a baby in a month or maybe sooner!! So some of her friends gave her a shower in Little Rock a few weeks back. She got some wonderful gifts and had a great time. These are just a few of the pictures I took. She is now ready for Baby Lila to make her arrival, but I just hope she holds out a few more weeks. Poor Terri is having terrible problems with her swollen feet and legs. I feel so sorry for her because I remember not too long ago how these last few weeks drag by. Please say some prayers for her safe arrival very soon!!

As usual Aunt T was very sweet and allowed Addie Blaire to help her open her presents. She was a little too much help and Aunt T wasn't going quite as fast as she would have liked!

My sweet sister in law stopped by and thank goodness cause I needed all the help I could get with the two of the kiddos there.

My sweet baby girl did such a good job at her first shower. She was such a little angel.

The Circus!

Jodi Coffee and I decided to take the kiddos to the Circus a few weeks ago. I was lucky in that Mitch offered to watch Britann so that it wouldn't be so crazy for me and Addie and we would get some time together. It was so much fun! I had not been to a circus since I was a kid and I forgot how cool they are! There were men hanging by the feet from the tent, two women even hung by there ponytails. The elephants were Addie's favorite which is why most of the pictures I took were of them. She even got to walk the tight rope just like a performer!! It was a lot of fun and I think I even have Mitch convinced that he needs to make the next one.

Pretty impressive considering she was in boots!

The best part for her was the popcorn a must have in Addie's world!

This was the one of many pictures we tried to get of the girls. They were too busy running around and dancing.

Garvin Gardens

We decided to take a trip out to Garvin Gardens several weeks back before Christmas. We had taken Addie Blaire before but not that she remembered I don't think. Before we had even gotten out of the car her arms starting waving (this is something she gets from her dad when she gets excited) and she was ready to get inside. She absolutely loved it, Mitch was dreading coming but he said after seeing her face light up it was all worth it. She keep saying "it is so beautiful" and thanking us for bringing her there. I think it is one of those memories that will stay with me for a very long time. Merry Christmas!

This is Addie in front of the "peahawk" as she kept referring to it. I don't know much about my camera so excuse the pictures you either get the kiddo in front or the actual lights so I am not promising the best photography in the next few photos.

I loved the look of these chandeliers as you walked up the hill.

Needless to say Britann will have to come back in a few years because she definitely won't remember this trip considering she slept through the whole thing!

I love this picture because this shows the exact excitement that we saw the entire time we were there!

This crepe myrtle was beautiful!!

I can't wait to make this an annual trip for the Bobo family. I see many good Christmas memories happening here in the future!

2 months

9 weeks!!

Well, we are finally turning a corner with this whole sleeping in the day and partying at night thing with Ms. Britann. I admit it has been a long process with many sleepless nights but she seems to be coming around. Last night she actually went 9 hours without a bottle!!! yeah!! The only problem is that she sleeps best when right next to mommy. I said I wouldn't do that but as all my plans usually go, I caved in!! She loves to snuggle, I actually think that she is going to be a great snuggle bunny for years to come because she is happiest all bundled up and right next to me. I didn't think I would be able to sleep this way but I guess I underestimated how tired I was because I snooze right along with her now. She is becoming such a happy baby now that some of the gas issues are behind us. I am actually getting her to coo now and she smiles like crazy at all of us crazy folks. She is also putting on the lbs! For a small gal she is gaining like crazy, she was up to 10 1/2 lbs at her appointment this week. She is in the 50th percentile for weight and height. She was 23 inches long. She is now taking at least 4 to 5 ounces of milk every 3 hours except at night where she is going about 8 or 9 hours. I am so glad to see her gaining weight finally.
As for Ms. Addie Blaire she is a big help and loves her baby sister! She kisses on her all the time and told me the other day that I was being mean to baby sister because she was crying. She is taking up for her already!!She is full of funny sayings these days to. She told my mom the other day that "she was giving her a headache" and that "she was hurting her ears!" when my mom was telling her something to do. She even walked out of the house the other day when it was raining and she said "I've got a bad feeling about this!" I love how her personality is developing more and more each day. She is using vocabulary that I have never heard before. She told me the other day that I was "making her nervous, and that I was making her jealous" not sure that she used them in the correct sense of the word but still impressed! She is still loving her school, she even got all the Disney princess dolls from dad the other day because she had gone all night without peeing in her diaper!! Hey that is a big deal around our house. We actually had forgotten to put a diaper on her that night, oops. She is trained but the night time is still a work in progress. Well anyway dad bought her these dolls and she has now named them all after the kids in her class. Even the boys! She plays with them all the time and we have school. She is the sweetest little thing and she just makes me smile all the time. I have not been so good at taking pictures here recently but here are a few I manged to take of the girls. I start back to work in pharmaceuticals next week so I am enjoying as much time with the girls this week. Luckily it will be flex time work so I can still get those days at home to hang out with them!

These are a few pictures that I bought the rights to from the girls first photo session with a photographer. She got some really great pictures I may have to go back and order a few more of them, it is always so hard to decide. I love that she was able to get a few of them together because it is way to hard to do by myself, a baby would end up on the floor if I did!

Addie Blaire had just been crying about getting her pictures taken and the baby had pooped and pee pee on me, oh about 3 times before this session was over. Oh the memories we will have!

I love this sweet picture of her sleeping even though I used one like this with her eyes open for the birth announcement this is still my favorite picture of her so far. My house is going to look like a shrine to my kiddos!

Just hanging out with my girls, Addie loves for baby sister to get her big girl bed.
One way to get baby sister to look at the camera...

I got this outfit from my friend Jennifer and it was so cute, I had to take some pictures in it. At least the girl has got some bling for now!
I took a few pictures of the girls in holiday gear for what I thought would be a Christmas card picture but it didn't quite work out. However, it was pretty comical and Addie was pretty full of Smarties when it was over so I guess she won't be disappointed!

Well I didn't do such a good job taking pictures at Thanksgiving this year. We spent the holidays with my family this year. However, G was in town earlier in the week and we met her for steaks one night. It was Mitch's idea of a perfect Thanksgiving meal.
This is my only Thanksgiving picture. I had intentions of taking pictures with my parents and I never seemed to get around to doing so. I guess we were too busy taking care of the kiddos to take any pictures. I'll have to do better at Christmas.
Aunt T and Nana watched the kids on Saturday so Mitch and I could go watch the Hogs beat LSU!! She said after spending the day with the kiddos she understands why I seem so crazy everytime she calls. I think the word she used was "constant" that would be a pretty good description! We even had a girls night on Friday night while the guys were hunting, (yes, Mitch went) but I don't think he did much time on the stand for those that know him well! We had a mani pedi night and I wish I had taken a picture of my toes, I let Addie do the painting and well I think I got my money's worth with her in charge.

Fall Fun!

The girls and I had our first girls weekend since Britann was born. We spent Thursday night with dad in Hot Springs, which was Britann's first time to the condo. Addie was so excited to show her the place. Addie just loves getting to go there as much as we do I guess. On Friday, we headed out to Little Rock. We met up with Aunt Brandee and Addie stayed with Mason that night while Brandee, Britann, and I met up with my sister and mom for Holiday House. It was alot of fun, I always enjoying going just to get into the spirit of things. Britann was a trooper she slept through the whole ordeal which was good and bad considering I knew I would pay for it later!! I didn't even buy a thing, which is a first for me, but I did lots of sampling goodies and making a wish list for next year!! That night the girls and I stayed with Aunt T and the next morning we all went to help her register for baby Lila!! It was exciting to be there but I am afraid I was not too much help to her considering I had one baby taking a bottle and the other one climbing the wall of the store. I headed back after that and Addie had 2 birthday parties that afternoon. I made it a little late to the first and when we headed home to change up from the horse party to the princess party I realized I was locked out of the house!!! Needless to say a few hours later and a locksmith paid we were safe and sound inside!! I truly am losing my mind these days, I would love to blame it on pregnancy but I can't anymore!! We had a great time and Nana even stayed the night with us that night, thank goodness cause mommy was pooped!

Britann on the hay at the horse party.

Amy brought her awesome horse who was so gentle with the kids and Addie saddled up right away.

Addie Blaire and the birthday girl, Peyton.

Next it was on to Katie Ella's party. Addie loved this dress. She wanted all the makeup I would put on her and as you can tell in the picture her fake earrings were a necessity!

Addie and Lydia finding treasures and jewels.

Addie and the birthday girl, Katie

All the beautiful princesses!

These are a few pictures from a few weeks back when Addie Blaire's school had the fire fighters come give a talk. She got to try it all out and the whole class was in awe of the fire truck of course.

Britann wasn't as interested...

Hosing down the neighborhood.
