Christmas Lights

We took Addie Blaire to eat and see the lights at Degray before Christmas. SHe had a blast with her "g" and Nan and pop all there. WE went to eat at Fish Net and the highlight of the night for her was probably the hushpuppies, but the lights were pretty cool too.

Walking with the G, Dad and Nana. She isn't much for holding hands when she walks anymore, I guess because we don't walk fast enough for her taste.
My little angel meeting one of her own!!! Awwwh, how sweet!!
She wasn't so sure about some of the figurines, I think she actually tried talking to a few of them and even tried to ride the horses that were there.

This is just a pick I added of my little eater. My mom puts this workout headband on her to eat so that her hair doens't get into her face, but it makes it appear more like it really is: a hardcore no nonsense eatathon!!!! Still not there with the whole not interested in food thing the doctor keeps telling us about!

I took Addie Blaire to church at my parent's one weekend during Christmas this are a few pictures of her in her Christmas dress.

This was the closest I could get of her standing by the Christmas tree.
For some reason, Addie Blaire hated this Santa Claus, maybe because she is scared to death of him, but everytime my mom would set him in this chair she would see it and throw him on the floor. Poor guy!

She loves her Christmas book with cool pop ups, thanks Aunt Bettye!

Girls Weekend...finally

Some of my friends and I finally got together last weekend. It was so nice to get some girl time. We had such a good time catching up and hanging out. We had all these plans of shopping and things to do and instead we just sat and talked all day. We stayed up late in our pjs just like old times. Thanks to Jess for putting us up for the night! The next night Mitch and I even got a get away with some friends to Shreveport. It has been awhile since we have been there it was a nice little getaway.

I could explain this picture but it would take too long so just us being stupid sums it up.

Christmas Parade

Addie Blaire went to her 2nd Christmas parade this year and I think it may have lasted a little longer this year than last. We went a little early and played with several kids around the location where we waited. She was running around like a wild woman . She even walked up to a little girl that I didn't know and she introduced herself for the first time to someone. It was so sweet she walked up to the little girl and pointed to herself and said Addie. The little girl just looked at her a little funny probably because she was quite a bit older but it made me want to cry! She is getting so big, I am trying to savor every moment of it!

Waiting for the parade to start. .. The anticipation was too much for me! (By the way i hate to say it but I think she is looking more like me, to all those that have been on Mitch's side the past year or so. Just look at that profile almost like looking in a mirror. (yeah right, well maybe a little bit!)

Robbie had the best set up at his office so the kids had fun running around this crazy thing. I have seen some blow up toys, but this one takes the cake!
I can't believe I am posting this picture because I look like the Joker in this, (note to self to tame down the cheese next time) it was just the only picture I have of Griffin and Addie Blaire both looking at the camera at the same time. Thanks to Dr. Carter for getting there attention.
She is really starting to come around to Ronnie lately. I just love that laugh. I still have to catch it on video and post because I know that is one thing that I will never get tired of hearing.
I am still trying to impove my photography skills. I have a wonderful subject to try it out on though! I really love this hat because it brings out those baby blues!!

I want Addie Blaire to remember what long and beautiful eyelashes she had one day which is why I am posting this picture.

All dressed up...

I just wanted to post a few pictures of her in her church clothes. She looked so precious all dressed up in her coat and hat that day. I had to take some pictures of it. I also was told by Angie that I had to write about the fact that she is sporting some new tights. I couldn't find Addie Blaire's tights that morning and we were in a hurry to get to church as usual so in a pinch I decided to dress her in my knee socks. They worked quite nicely I think and noone would have known a difference had I not told myself.

Tutus and Tieras!

Addie Blaire recently went to a Tutu party for her friend Ellie. She really had a great time, playing with all the big girls. I wasn't sure how she would do because she was a little younger the the rest of the crowd but she fit right in. She really enjoyed watching all the little girls play and dress up. She also loved all the food!!! She was the only one that pretty much sat at the table and had herself a meal! She hasn't quite hit that phase where she doesn't like to eat yet!! Not sure if she ever will??

She was all about Miss Helen Clark and all her cute jewelry and beads. She is such a sweetie and was so sweet with Addie Blaire!

I love this outfit. It might be one of my favorites she looks so old though. Here she is eating at the big girl table. She was the only one eating but that didn't stop her!
Okay so now she is getting the hang of this whole party thing. She got right in there and was going for the toys with all the big girls.

Christmas Card 2008 Pics

I am really behind but the past few weeks have been a little crazy with work, and the holidays! I have been trying to complete my shopping while decorating our condo all over again. I must say that I will probably never build a house, I never knew all the decisions that had to be made and it is was more than I can handle right now. I have no idea how this place is going to look when we are done! I had the hardest time taking pictures this year because Addie Blaire has had her 1st ear infection and we couldn't get outside to take any pictures because it has been so cold! So Mitch and I decided to line her up in front of our kitchen wall and take some pictures. She is not really into standing in one place these days so we came up with the idea to tell her to go touch the wall and turn around. When she turned around I was waiting there to take the picture. The trick was that Mitch had to actually race her to the wall to get her to chase him and then he had to jump out of the way so I could take the pictures. It was really hilarious actually. I am sure it would have been much funnier to send out the video of us trying to take the picture vs. the actual pics. Here are a few of my favorites:

We started out in front of this window, I can't imagine why we had to switch the setting of the picture. Could it be the extradorinary dirty window in the background with all the handprints?!
I did make this tutu also it was quite full!! She had a little trouble walking around in this one so I had to cut it off after the pics. She was getting so tickled with herself and all the craziness because Zoe kept getting in the way and I was having to hold her down while I took the pictures with one hand. (pretty talented I know.)
This was my favorite picture, I wish it had been a little bigger on the actual card because she was so happy in this one and on the card it is so small you can't really see it well. She is doing "the Mitch" as my dad calls it. She gets really excited and starting shaking her hands. It is something that Mitch, Addie Blaire, Mason, and even Mitch's grandfather all do. It is too cute!

I think that this picture was pretty cool because she was checking herself out and she couldn't get over seeing herself. She likes to check herself out, (she gets that from her dad i guess!!)

My sweet little elf! Thanks to Nana for the extra cute hat! Addie actually it getting so used to the hats these days that she wears them all the time at home.
I decided this year to break down and buy the inflatable "ho, ho" as Addie Blaire calls him. My sister has given me a little grief over this guy, but I just tell her it is amazing the things I said I would never do that I am doing all for the sake of this little girl.
