Disney Day 1 !!!

Spring Break here we come!!  These two were so excited to wake up early and get moving on the way to Disneyworld!  We spent the night before at an airport hotel with Nana and Pop so that we would be ready for that 5am wake up call.  We even fit in some fun in Grapevine that night before we left.
My St. Patrick day cuties!
And we were off!  Nana and Pop took the flight with us and the Cross family decided to drive so they would just have to meet us there.
As soon as bags were unloaded we were off to Hollywood Studios.  I had fast passes (the only way to go at Disneyworld for those new to the game) lined up at 1pm and we barely made it!  Aunt T and the family were still in route so Nana and Pop joined us.

The first ride I had lined up was Aerosmith roller coaster while poor B wasn't tall enough so the 3 of us ran up just in time before our fast pass ended to jump on.  I think I heard these two mention I hope its not fast and it doesn't go upside down about the time it took off at lightening speed!  All I could do was laugh at the terror on their faces...as evidenced by the next pic!

We survived and high tailed it over for the Nick Jr. show which I knew would be a highlight for B.  I was right she loved the show and most of all loved meeting one of her favorites, Sofia the First.  She got so into the signatures and pictures it became her one mission while we were at the parks to fill her autograph book...and she did plus some!

And Jake of Jake and the Neverland Pirates

And this silly guy was cracking us up..

And Doc McStuffins fixed them right up as well.

Then we headed over to the new Frozen show which was hilarious.  I laughed and laughed at all the inside jokes and the kids were on cloud nine listening and singing along to some of their favorites.

We even got to met this chill dude before we left.

And then caught this guy right outside the door.  Stitch gave B quite the surprise because as she walked away he chased her down and you have never seen a child scream quite like she did.  She got a little more careful after that getting up close and personal with just anybody!  It was so funny for the rest of us though!!

The great movie ride was one of my favorites we had missed the last time we were there.  I loved the Wizard of Oz portion...it was awesome the animation involved.
Toy story mania!!!   Nana and Pop all ready to go!
See Brit wasn't so excited..more gun shy after that last encounter.
Woody and Buzz were also quite the attraction.  And oddly enough they didn't scare her at all!

It was a great afternoon exploring Hollywood studios but that early wake up call had me ready for dinner and bed!

We boated over from the park to the Boardwalk and had dinner with lots of people watching.  Great food and even better entertainment

All the street performers kept the kids interested.  It was also a welcome change with the warmer weather.  I was so ready for some sunshine for a while.  it stayed 80-85 degrees and sunny the entire week which was perfect!!

Day 1 was fun but no let's get some sleep...on to Animal Kingdom in the morning!
