Day 5...Magic Kingdom Round #2. The morning started off with a little parade through downtown.
Then we headed across the park because there was still a few folks that B had not seen and she was not leaving til she saw Minnie Mouse. But first up was Daisy Duck!and then the one we had all been waiting for...MINNIE!!
This was taken on the Jungle Cruise shortly before the child behind us began to puke everywhere. If you know my husband he is a good sport up until the point someone pukes and then all bets are off. I have never seen someone get off a ride faster than he did. The worst part was we were stuck in a line of boats so there was nowhere to go and the smell..oh the smell. I know that's enough but it was hilarious watching him react and try and keep it together.
Just one of the super fun parades through Magic Kingdom. This one had everyone in on the action from Pinocchio, to Alice in wonderland and even the seven dwarfs.
Silly girl...I couldn't believe those legs could still walk after all those miles we logged. She and her sister both did a great job and we never even had to rent a stroller. Aunt T may have helped out a bit with hers and the kids rotating places but for the most part they all walked it!
Splash Mountain gave the girls and I quite the thrill. It was awesome, so awesome that we would have done it again had the line not been so long.
OH Tink...these girls were thrilled that we caught her before she flew off.
I mean pure sass right here!
Sweet Lila in her tutu..she had to wear it that day just in case she met some more princesses!
Picture time...had to take a last minute attempt to get our moneys worth with the photo package..I think we succeeded!
Serious business...or at least Nana looks that way. She was ready to fight whatever came her way.
But no more serious than Mitch!
or even Uncle B
Space mountain with the whole crew..well except for Nana and June, but only because she wasn't tall enough or she would have been there. Nana not so much!
not so sure about Mitch though!!
Those silly step sisters had this girl tickled!
And another one of B's favorites, we even had an Elena party last year. Elena of Avalor
And just a few more pictures to prove we were really there...by this point even I was getting tired of posing..my family will say that is untrue but it was starting to get awkward with the very enthusiastic photographer!
And that night after we left the park we headed to the hotel pool for several hours and an 80's dance party with the kids that left us all a little tired. The kids stayed with Nana and Pop at the hotel and the four of us escaped off for dinner at Disney Springs. We had the most fabulous meal at the Boat Dock I think was the name. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed every second of the conversation and relaxation for the first time that week. We even snuck by Ghirardelli's for some ice cream afterwards...great ending to a wonderful week.
Just a picture or two of the room as we left it early the next morning for our flight back home. This was the girls bunk room that was just perfect for the two of them.
And then we had our bedroom and a living room space in between. It was so great to be able to spread out and enjoy our time in the room. Last time the hotel we stayed at was so small and the beds were so hard it just wasn't what we wanted this time around. So glad we got to stay next to all the family and hang out after the days ended. Also so glad we didn't stay on property or all those fun uber memories would have never occurred!
