Addie Blaire's First Dance Recital!

Well the day finally came, I don't know if i dreaded seeing my little baby dancing on stage like a big girl more or the fact that now she has discovered lipstick and wants to wear it everyday!! She did a great job at the recital. Luckily this year they separated the big and little girls recitals so ours was over very quickly!! She did a great job during her dance, with a little help from her teacher off stage. She was so funny because as they were leaving the stage in a line dancing she let everyone pass her and she stayed on the stage by herself. Well, you see she heard everyone clapping and of course they were all clapping for her so she stopped and gave them all a bow and waved to the crowd!! It was pretty humorous to see her up there by herself bowing to all her fans! The kids all came back up at the end to do there "fun songs" like the chicken dance, head shoulders, and a few others. She really enjoyed this part because she got to really show us her stuff, she has been doing this for a while now so no teacher was needed for her to perform this time. At the end of the show each child was to come on stage and wave and blow a kiss to the crowd as their name was announced, well being that she is her father's daughter somehow she crossed the stage and her name was announced three times I think!!!! She is so shy it is really a shame!!!
Here are my pics from the night. Get ready for picture overload because I just couldn't decide what to post, it takes me longer to pick through them all then to just put it all on here!

She looks so much older, it makes me so sad!! The girls wore red polka dot dresses and their tap shoes for the "Good Ship Lollipop" dance.

Addie and her cousin Lily.
This is a picture of Addie with Erin McMasters from her class. She is the sweetest little girl and so beautiful. It wasn't a week after this recital that Erin was camping with her parents and sister at the campground that flooded in east Arkansas. She and and her family held on to trees as the area flooded. Unfortunately, she lost her mother in that flood. Please say a little prayer for this sweet child who has now lost her mother. Her mother was the sweetest, most thoughtful woman and she will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
I tried to get her to pose like some of the bigger kids, but we just couldn't quite get it! I am not complaining though because at least she looked at the camera and smiled, much better than usual.

Addie Blaire and Maddie one of her friends from class.

The whole gang, boy was that a fun picture for the photographer to try to take!

She was boogieing in this one I think.

Getting a belly ache from all those lollipops!

Now this is where I was saying she came alive with her moves what girl wouldn't with the "chicken dance" playing.

I don't know if this was taken on her 1st, 2nd or 3rd strut across the stage, but it is pretty obvious that the stage was not a problem for her except that she had to share it!!!

After the show, her friend Griffin came and watched her and brought her flowers!! How freakin cute is that! She was so excited to see him, she even yelled out during her dance "hey there's griff" when she spotted him from stage.

She wanted so badly to give him a kiss, something dad is not too keen on but she couldn't resist. He wasn't sure about it at first but like all men he gave in to her!!!

Success!

Addie with her great grandparents, Nicki and Pop Powell.

Addie and her "G"!

Nana and Pop came down for the show too!

This is I guess what happens when mom tries to just get in one picture!! She is really good with those eyes these days!! By the way I was about 24 weeks during this picture!! Like I said before this is as much as I will be posting of the big Buddha belly!
Loving the daddy these days!! She is a little mini me with him following in his shadow wherever he goes! Hope daddy is ready for another one, he will have his own daddy fan club it seems!

We love you Addie Blaire and are so proud of you and all your "moves!"

Mother's Day Weekend

I had a wonderful Mother's day this year (and for that matter I still am, Addie Blaire is still wishing me happy mother's day about once a day! I am certainly not going to be the one to tell her that it is only one day a year, Mitch is trying to though!)
Mitch had quite the scare the week before and ended up in the hospital in Hope for a day or two. He was having bad headaches and fever and the doctor said it was a work I won't even begin to spell but that it was an infection on his brain. He swears it was from a mosquito that bit him the day before while playing golf. Anyways, he had several xrays, blood work ,etc. I spent the night with him in the hospital while my mom watched Addie at home. It was a pretty scary 24 hours to say the least. The next day he was feeling much better though after some breathing treatments, steroids, and iv antibiotics. He was a much better patient than I anticipated he would be but was very eager to get out of that place. He took several days to get back to feeling himself again, so our plan had been for him to watch Addie Blaire so mom, Terri and I could hang out that weekend in Little Rock. Since he wasn't up to it though I took Addie with us and it ended up being an even more memorable weekend than it would have otherwise. It also allowed him some time to rest and get to feeling better. We went to a great dinner on Friday and then on Saturday morning Terri and I had the Women Can Run race in Conway to attend. My mom and Addie cheered us on from the finish line. I actually helped Jodi with the clinic her in Hope but wasn't as much help this year since I was pregnant. However, I did walk the race and helped with some duties along the way. Terri had done the clinic in LR and she ran the entire race!! Yeah for her! After the race we went and had a mani and pedi day in Little Rock. Addie Blaire had her first pedicure and needless to say she is a changed woman because of it. I don't think a day passes that someone random person is not asked to look at her "beautiful toes"! Fun times and I can't wait for next year to have another little girl to join in the fun.

After the race, there were so many participants this year which was great! Thanks to Jodi for getting our team together in Hope.

Three generations of Fowler women!

Addie Blaire met a little girl that I had known her mother in college and they had a blast dancing to the "cha cha" and other fun music after the race.

Addie Blaire's first pedi!! She loved every second of it. Aunt Brandee even stopped by to witness the fun. She loved the chair so much the next little girl didn't stand a chance at sitting down. The rest of us were down the way getting ours and she would lean over and wave to us and go back to chatting with the child next to her. The women in there were getting a big kick out of her! She got to pick her own color and surprise, she picked fluorescent pink with black glitter on top!! They were mighty pretty toes, just don't ask her dad about them he wasn't as big of a fan.

Not sure about spreading those toes and she sure was a little ticklish like her mother.

It's a......

GIRL!!!!!! We are so excited to announce that we are having another sweet baby girl!! I really can't believe it, I was convinced from everyone else I guess that it was a boy. Mitch was the same way, I don't really know why but I never dreamed I would have two little girls!! We had a wonderful day that we got to share with our whole family and it was just perfect. My mom, dad, sister, mother-in-law, Mitch and Addie were all there with me for the ultrasound. It was so neat to be able to show Addie her little sister and for her to be there for that moment was pretty awesome. I think Mitch is in shock he is completely outnumbered at our house, even the dog is a girl!! He 'll manage though, like I told him at least little girls always love there daddy's, mommy's well it is usually a love hate thing in those teenage years! Addie has even picked out a name for her little sister Larsha (not quite sure how she prefers it spelled but she is set on it!!) She and I went shopping to buy our baby sister a present the next day. Somehow she wanted a barbie and strawberry shortcake ball!! After the ultrasound our families went with us on a boat ride on Lake Hamilton and to dinner, no better way to spend the day then with those that love us and that are already in love with this baby. I feel really blessed to be able to be her mother and I can't wait to meet her in a few months. Now to just come up with a name, never an easy task for me!

The baby girl parts or so she says!!

This was the best she could do to get a picture of her face, she wasn't being to cooperative about that. She kept her little arms in front of her face the entire time and I remember Addie Blaire doing the same thing. The picture is her laying against something with her face showing and her cute little fingers on her belly. The funniest part was after the ultrasound the nurse gave Addie her own pictures to show her friends. She took one look at it and told my sister that it looked like a koala bear!!! I have to admit I kinda see where she could see that, but way too funny!

Addie Blaire and Zoe hanging out on the boat after an exciting day!

Just catching up!

It was Mason's birthday this weekend so we had a big weekend after our ultrasound on Wednesday, Addie and I spent the day in Hot Springs shopping for the baby on Thur. Then Lonoke with the Gentry's on Friday, and some time with my aunt in downtown Little Rock hanging out, on Sat. Aunt Brandee watched Addie so Dad and I got out and then the best part of all was Mason's awesome birthday on Sunday. He had his party at the athletic club in LR. It has the coolest maze for the kids, I was really impressed. Addie Blaire had been looking so forward to the party that she wouldn't let Mason out of her sight that day because she was afraid she would miss out on the party.

The kiddos before the party

Mason blowing out the candles and being sang to by everyone, mainly Addie Blaire who was the loudest and most of key of all the party goers!! What can I say she takes after her mother on the off key part. Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures of Mas because he was a busy little guy at the party. Once he got in that maze he didn't come out and if he did I couldn't have caught him!! So glad he had a great time on his big day!

Addie got a little tired that maze was alot of work!

and then she was back up and at it in no time

Mitch and I got to go to a party at the country club of little rock last weekend so I took a picture because first of all we never do and secondly, I haven't been so good about taking any pictures of myself pregnant. I can't imagine why??! Anyways, I want to be better about posting a few more pictures of me during this very exciting time! This picture was at 21 weeks! Over half way, yeah!

I took several pictures of Addie Blaire the other day for her program for her dance recital. I didn't have much time so I lined her up on the porch and just started pretending that she was a model and told her different faces to make (happy, sad, serious, etc.) she really put on a show. I am not sure which picture face I like the best but I had to post some of my favorite expressions!

This was her serious face, but it also somehow involved her rolling her eyes, which she does a lot these days!

I never had a chance to post the birthday party that Mitch and Addie Blaire threw for me the morning of my birthday. Addie had instructed her dad what he needed and he pulled through. She wanted balloons, blowers, party favors, and cupcakes. Daddy did also we had Tinkerbell plates, barbie cupcakes, and some beautiful party favors! It was the best birthday party ever!! That night we went to eat at a Japanese steakhouse and Addie used her first pair of chopsticks. She surprisingly did awesome with them and we even brought them home. Now every time she eats rice at home she has to have her "sticks."
