Tiger Tunes/ Hog Wild!

Addie Blaire and I had the pleasure of getting to attend her 1st Tiger Tunes this year. I had been out of town all week and was flying in that night so she met me in Arkadelphia and we headed out to Ouachita. Thanks to her cousins Lindsey and Abbey she even had a care package at the house with all the gear she would need to be a good fan. She got a button for each of their groups to wear in support, some astronaut gear to support the EEE's and even a microphone to do some cheering! She was so excited when we got there..
..she was all smiles from ear to ear. She felt like such a big girl in the midst of all these college kiddos.

She made it through most of the evening, we were holding out for Abby because she was 2nd from the end of the show and since bedtime is usually 8 to 9 and it was close to 10 I thought that was pretty good. We even got to meet up with both of my precious cousins to tell them thanks for the good time!! I am sure this will now be a yearly event we put on the calendar, so thanks girls!!!

The next morning we headed out early so dad could play in a golf tournament in Fayetteville. I was determined that BOTH the girls would go to a game this year. Since dad was in the tournament we got to hang out with my good friend Renee and her precious little girl Sallie. We even got a tour of her cool work and then went to play at the house. Sallie and Addie Blaire had a lot of fun on her new playground and even Brit did her best to try and catch up with the big girls, which was great so that the mommies got some catchin up time as well. Thanks NeNe for entertaining us for the weekend. Addie Blaire is still asking when mommy needs to go visit her friend again so she can play with Sallie!

We stayed at the Clarion in Fayetteville for the weekend and I thought it was soo funny because Addie Blaire loved it. I mean loved it. She told me "it was the most beautiful place ever" for those that know this hotel you would know it is a hundred years old and definitely not what one would call beautiful these days, but oh to see things through the eyes of a child!! The Gentry's stayed with us so the kids had fun at the indoor pool and basically just running the halls. Hotels really can be so much fun can't they!!! We tailgated for a while before the game and got to eat some good food!! My favorite.

Addie Blaire has been every year to a game and it is so neat to watch how her perception of it each year is just a little different. Now don't get me wrong we still broke out the i phone for her at half time but she definitely didn't hesitate to call those hogs and she has even learned to hum the fight song!!! She also is a big fan of the new rap dance song or whatever you call it that they play at the games now. I caught a good picture of her jammin along!!

Ready to call those Hogs!! I want the girls to both grow up with these memories of going to games. I didn't go to any growing up and I know that it is very important part of their dad's memories and so I want to make sure that they too will have these memories for years to come.

Daddy's girls, Addie really is having fun I realize it doesn't show but that is because she wasn't happy with the camera not the game, I promise!

Brit did better than expected the first half of the game. I won't say that at half time when I was down in the end zone with both the girls trying to feed them and entertain them that there wasn't a moment when I felt a slight nervous breakdown on the horizon but we made it through by golly!!! and she came back ......

and this is what got us through the whole 3rd quarter! Funny though to Mitch and I because she is definitely not our little sleeper in the family and the fact she slept through 70000 people screaming around her but hears us roll over in bed is just a little comical to say the least!

Just a little picture that Lashonda got of the kids one day and sent to me while I was at work. Just the little things it takes to make you get through the day like a sweet picture of two cutie pie kiddos.

Addie Blaire and I tried out her 1st 3D movie. We went to see the Lion King and it was sooo good! I highly recommend it. I had forgotten myself how cool 3D is. Addie Blaire was so cute though because she kept covering her head every time it was raining thinking she was getting wet!!! I was cracking up!!!

Hat day at school for Red Ribbon week. A little shout out to our friend Miller!! The teacher even told me she shared (her version of the story) with the class and they all said a prayer for that sweet angel baby.

This is "the chair" I had referred to it in earlier posts. Britann is very territorial with this chair, you better not sit in it or beware!!!! She loves it!!

Hanging out with Mamaw Bobo at Lydia's fun birthday party. Does the bow make my head look big??? Maybe a little too much on second thought.

I tried to get a picture of Brit in this outfit because I made it for Addie several years ago and wanted the pictures to compare the two. I must say my tutu held up better than I would have ever thought. Probably won't be making many more of those so need the kids to see these pictures one day so it will look like I was some kind of Martha Stewart type even though that is far from the truth!

Fall Festival!

Now that Addie Blaire is in "big girl" school as we like to call it. We are starting to enjoy all the fun that comes with it. She had a fall festival at school a couple of weeks ago and luckily I was able to be off to help with it. Although next year I will do a better job of picking my game. Me and Mrs. Tabitha made the mistake of doing a game where you shoot out candles with water guns, not only was it messy I brought the wrong kind of candles so by the end of the day I had a blue and purple thumb from lighting and relighting and relighting candles all day! Not to mention we ran out of lighter and so we just started shooting the wall by the end of the day. If something sounds easy I am learning that it is usually too good to be true, definitely the case with that game!

Addie Blaire, Cassidy, Emma, and Livi
Addie Blaire and Peyton

Gotta love a bounce slide!! (sorry pictures are from phone and not that clear)

Trying mommy's fabulous game!!

She got some major loot!!! She was pretty proud of herself I think.

Cassidy and Addie Blaire, it was drug free week by the way in case you notice the red ribbon.

Addie Blaire and Livi trying out her mom's cool tire game. Such cuties!! I can't help it, I just love all these little girls.

That afternoon since she had gotten out of school early I decided to take the girls to this circus that was in town. I think most people were a little skeptical of it since you know we aren't exactly a thriving metropolis but hey I figured what harm could it do, worst case we would just head out. Well it was their loss because it turned out to be so much fun and Addie Blaire and Britann both had a blast!! This is AB with the lamas.???

I tried to take a picture of how big Britann's eyes were during the show. She sat on the ground in front of me in awe most of the time!!! So cute to see her starting to enjoy new things all over again!

Katie Ella and Becky met us there and so the girls had such a good time and a front row seat none the less (who would have thunk it for $5!)

Cuz'n lovin!

I just love this picture cause it captures all the excitement and joy in the girls' faces.

And at intermission Addie got to ride an elephant!!!! How often can you say that in this small town!!

Aunt Becky and Brit, she actually went to her without a fuss, that was a big deal for Brit these days!! I guess a little distraction like a circus is the key.

Oh and did I mention they also got to ride a camel. Not everyday I tell ya!!! Addie said she preferred the elephant though the camel "was too bumpy"!

Oh the places you'll go sweet girls with a crazy momma like yours!!!

Jet Ski Kinda Girl

Well thanks to Mr. Bud because the daffodil crew now has a jet ski to ride. I think that Bobo made a deal with him that we got to try it out if he stored it on his dock so therefore we couldn't resist to give it a try. It has been awhile since I rode one but Addie Blaire has never had the chance until now....
Brit Brit and Ms. Sharon watched on, I think we'll have to give it another year two sweet girl.
Addie Blaire rode with Bobo and daddy and she loved every second of it. She was even wanting to go faster!! Little dare devil that girl.

A perfect end to a wonderful summer!!! I can't wait til next year!

Fair Parade Fun!

Brit update: (simply because I am sooo behind!! pretend that she is just 12 months and not really 13 almost 14 ,okay!)
Little Brit is now the big 1!!! We are having so much fun with this very active little crazy person in the house. She is definitely full of spice and everything nice as well. She has learned that mommy will do just about anything for her and that can sometimes be a little difficult. She really wants to be where I am at all times and that isn't always possible although I am learning how to do many things while holding her that I wouldn't have thought possible! She is really coming along as far as her development but the major 2 we are still waiting on are walking and some toothies. She can stand on her own for a few seconds (13 months) and she is letting herself down but that is the extent of it for now. She pushes things around the house but not for long because she is sooo fast at crawling she gives up and goes back to that. She still just has her 2 little toothies on bottom but we are hoping to see some new ones any day. She is now weighing about 21 lbs. and I actually forgot her height but she was in the 50% percentile on both. She is drinking some from a sippy cup but still prefers the good ole bottle. She is now on whole milk and seems to really enjoy it. She eats like a little piggie!! She loves food and will eat anything (spinach and asparagus) that I put in front of her. She actually is eating chicken and hot dogs, she definitely doesn't let those two little teeth stop her, ohhh no! She is still saying words occasionally. She says momma and daddy some and Addddd quite a bit lately. Her favorite phrase is "hey" thought. My mom has started to call her the "Fonz" from that happy days show now cause she just look at everyone and say "hey". She is in love with her new chair, which there are pictures of coming up. She sits in it all the time and she loves her little dog Zoe, maybe more than Zoe loves her right now. She likes all animals and she really loves it outside. She is still warming up to other people she is not used to which we are really working on because it makes it a little tough in the church nursery and with babysitters but I am sure with age that will get a little easier. She really is so much fun and the best part is seeing the girls finally start to play with one another whether it be ball or Brit just bugging big sis while she is playing I know these girls are going to have a special bond that is unlike any other and I can't wait to share in that with them!
We took Brit to her second parade this year (her first she was 2 weeks old at) and we got to watch big sis in the parade. This is her pointing to big sis as she rode by! sooo sweet to see her get that excited.

Addie Blaire got to ride on the K4 float for school and she had such a good time on there with all her friends and teachers. She is such a big girl she rode without mom or dad even!! Kinda sad about that but much better not having the pressure of being on the float.

After the parade we headed over along with the rest of the town to the fair. Addie Blaire had all her friends there so she had a blast!! It was fun I admit seeing so many friends from town and letting the kids just run wild and have fun. One thing that is great about a small town is the feel of the fair, you can't explain it but if you are from a small town like I am I am guessing you have those memories like mine that stick with you for years to come.

Brit and I did a lot of watching but she still had alot of fun. Mitch and Addie took turns taking some folks out on the bumper cars.

This was the cutest thing they had there and Addie Blaire did it several times but it was a little fun house with all kinds of cool stuff. This is her trying to cross the moving steps...

coming out at the top and riding the sliding floor around the outside...

and coming through the rotating floor. I have to admit I wanted to give it a try.

Addie Blaire, Peyton and Darby Kate

Addie Blaire, Emma and her friend from school last year.

Addie Blaire and the Coffee girls.

Miss Brit Brit just because!

Brit getting her first kiss!! We were at a party and I sat her down for a second and next thing I know she was getting some major sugar from the doggie. Saying "Hey" to her new friend. She looks like she is doing some major flirting if you ask me!! You go girl, but he does have a twin so it could get a little confusing down the road.

Addie Blaire got to go on a hayride to find her very own pumpkin!!

Getting some sugar from Aunt Bran!
