Brookhill ..and graduation for AB!

WE got back home from vaction on July 3rd and made it just in time to catch the annual lake firework show!  We gathered around with our neighbors and enjoyed the show with front row seats!

But as soon as that was over we were back inside to pack because the girls left the next morning for Brookhill.  I hadn't really planned it back to back like that but as mentioned at this point we were just going with it.  They were so excited for camp this year so they weren't missing it.  This would be AB's last year as a camper after 6 years of camp....cue the tears!!!

Luckily, AB had Darby Kate to share a cabin as it was their last year to be a camper!

And B had several friends there that week...Lola

AB and one of her favorite counselors Olivia!

B was so excited to get Lauren as her counselor!

B also had a few school pals in Blakely and Anna Claire.

The first night started off well with a pic of B at the annual fishing derby.
Girls night fun!
And USA night for the win was some fireworks!
And AB with some friends at the carnival!
And the night she had anticipated for years...Graduation night.  The kids all extinguish their candles during the ceremony...needless to say there are apparently lots of tears.  I wouuldn't know because ihaven't been there but by the looks of it all the kids were sad to see these years at camp pass them by.

And the next day it was time for pickup.  AB received her graduation plaque and got say her final goodbyes.

And B was there to watch it all.  She had a great week with her friends too.  I didn't get many pics of the girls all week so these will have to do.  But considering it is there favorite place I guess that is a good sign.

Silly girls!

It really is a beautiful, magical place for these kids each summer!

That next week we got a visit from our cousin Katie Ella and her friend.  The girls had a good time tubing and hanging out.  So glad we got to see them..it has been way too long.

And then just like that is was time for volleyball again.  Luckily, Maddie is driving now which came in handy for all those 6:30 am workouts!
I was so excited to run into an old high school friend one day while I was filming a new video for The CALL.
It was such a magical day and so rewarding to hear all the stories of those doing the work each day.
And then just like that a week and aB was back at dance camp at UCA.

And while big sis was away little sis was taking her own dance camp at Hot Springs High with some friends.  She loved it!
The girls won a blue ribbon for their performance!

They even gave a little performance the last day that was pretty great!

B and I got to go watch AB for the first year.  It was fun to watch and this girls came home with 2 blue ribbons for her individual dance routines!

A good few little summer memories...the days seem to go by so fast!
