Racin' for a Cure!

This posted is dedicated to Jennifer...
AB and I made the trip up the hill for a good cause several weeks ago... we were going to support one very brave lady, Mrs. Jennifer Garner in a race she has been running for some time now.  She is now counted as a "survivor" of breast cancer after her last checkup which is awesome and long awaited news for her entire family.  It was so much fun to catch up with old (well you know what I mean we are never really going to get old) friends and for AB to make new ones.  B was going to go but on our detour through Little Rock decided she would rather stay and play with Cousin L so I guess I couldn't blame a girl for not wanting to ride another 3 hours in the car so I let her stay.  This is a little pic from mine and AB's road trip...like mother like daughter!!  You can't deny we don't look alike now!
That evening we stayed at the hotel with all the others and AB and Sallie had a great time swimming, singing and of course talking...both of them come by it honestly!!
The next morning we were up at it early and the girls didn't waste any time getting started.  Renee and I were chasing them with our coffee cups in hand trying to catch them..so much for that casual family run we signed up for!
Cutest things ever!!
Ahhh..the finish line...I don't know if this we from the 1st or 6th time they ran through because once they got a taste of everyone on the sidelines cheering them on they kept going back and running through again just to get cheered on.  It was hysterical!!

The crew from Team Feff.  I am so honored to not only know Jennifer but to have witnessed her journey and her bravery through it all.  Such a wonderful day to celebrate an amazing victory!!  I am so thankful for the time we all spent together as short as it may have been it was much needed.  I hate that it took something so tragic to bring us all together but thankful that our time together was spent happily rejoicing in Jenn's good news!!  Praying for all the families that are affected by this terrible disease...so we will continue to keep racing for a cure until one is found!
The girls on their "magic carpets"
How cool is this Olaf made from watermelons!
These girls certainly earned their medals that morning.
