So much to be thankful for....

Graphic Warning: you are about to experience picture overload!  I know there are a ton of pictures to follow but I couldn't pick my favorites and considering they may never make it to a frame given my lack of printing photos over the past few years this is as good as it gets!  A family friend came over one Sunday afternoon and in a matter of about 20 minutes was able to capture some great pictures of the girls just right there in our back yard.  I love having at least a few pictures of each girl every year, it reminds me of how fast they are growing up and how much they change from year to year.  AB is starting to look so grown up, (and yes she stuck a little mascara in on me, while B was busy applying the lip gloss..just more evidence they are growing up)  and B my little baby has turned into a little girl overnight it seems.

I end the post with some of the pictures from this year's Mistletoe Fair in Texarkana.  The girls both danced in the even this year.  It is always a great way to kick off the holiday season!
As always they had their cheering squad  there...unfortunately Bobo and Sheshe were gone before we got a picture.  But these grandparents are so good to my girls, they never miss a thing.  So grateful as Thanksgiving approached for the gift of these people and their blessing on my girls.

B forgot this lovely headband in the car and I realized it about 3 minutes before she went on stage.  Which would have been a bit noticeable had she been the only one.  I had already gotten up that morning and run 14 miles with friends training for the marathon but this mom was on a mission, my legs felt like to rocks but I took off running out the convention center at full speed.  Everyone standing around said I would never make it back in time, but they don't know this momma!  I made it about 10 seconds before she went on stage then rushed to the audience to catch her do her thing.  Just one of those days that a mom go through..hahaha!

Look at this little china doll....

B always wants a photo with her favorite big Ellie!

My big girl...she really put on a great show!

Her friend Audrey was even there to watch!
And some more local friends that now take dance with us.

All these girls did such a great job!
The whole crew after the show!!

And just like that these girlie girls were switched out of costume and hanging out at the deer camp with cousins.  They are a great mix of both girlie girl and country girl all wrapped up in one!  Now bring on Thanksgiving break!!

Halloween...It's at Circus around Here!!!

Halloween 2017...these girls started the day off with a gooliey surprise!
This year we decided like last year to all dress up.  The others in our neighborhood had a family costume idea as did my sister so the girls thought was should go all out.  Well with our busy schedule there was no time for making costumes so i sent the girls to the web to come up with their favorite idea...and well this is what we got!  They decided the whole family could be in on this one...even Charlie.  The only one missing from the family photo is Zoe but she probably didn't need to travel.  We just called her the bearded lady for the evening.  We had a strong man, a lion tamer, the ring master and of course the clown!  It was a lot of fun all dressing up together and the kids seem to get as much pleasure out of showing everyone the costumes as they did the candy.  The night didn't last long due to the rain but we started out in our old neighborhood and then moved over to Nicki and Pop's for pics with the cousins.
The cutest lion Tamer...she just couldn't seem to get the lion to cooperate!

It looked a little more like this every time we tried!!! Ha!
The only and only still shot we got.. poor dog was tired from all that running away!

And this little clown is always sure to brighten your day!

A bunch of crazy kids and some even wilder costumes with the cousins!

We ended the night going around the neighborhood on all terrain vehicles due to the rain but the kids had a blast running into friends.

And then we went back to the Powell's for a little dinner and more hilarious photo ops!
yes, I think the parents may have had as much fun as the kids!!!
Later, that weekend while dad was out of town the girls and I hosted the cousins on their first ever sleepover!  The girls did great and even cooked me breakfast the next morning!
The next night I attended  a movie with some other ladies, Bad Moms 2 (hilarious by the way!)  and the girls went out to the Bobo's for an evening of smores and a campfire.
AB getting in a few last practices before the big performance!
B  finished up her soccer season with these group of cuties.  She seems to really enjoy soccor...or at least all the running around, next season we will work a little more on the rules, and maybe even scoring!!  But for now, she is all smiles and getting lots of excitement from the big wins, or as she says "as they crush their competition!"  That girl...
See I told you this one was tough!
I just included a few pics of some of the Halloween decor around the house,  I figure years from now if the girls are ever looking through these books it might be nice to remember what all the holidays at home looked like!

Happy Halloween everyone, from our family circus to yours!!
