Just Catching up...

I like to post as many pictures on my blog because I feel that one day my kiddos will look back at this versus flipping through pages of pictures, but I admit sometimes I get a little carried away. I just had to attach some picture of Britann and Addie Blaire from the past 2 months. Britann is changing so much everyday now and I am trying to journal all these changes just like I did for Addie.
Britann and her great grandmother, Nikki

and great grandfather, Pop

Addie Blaire loves to feed Britann. We just started at about 5 months giving her a little rice cereal with applesauce (she wouldn't take it otherwise) she is also trying at lunch time some sort of green vegetables.
She is making great strides in her motion this month as well. She is rolling over all the time now. She can even roll over and keep rolling over several times now. Actually today she rolled right off the couch with Lashonda. She is a quick one.

Just had to show of that cute little heart!
Valentine's day 2011
Addie Blaire thought it was pretty cool. I got us a bottle of grape juice and we toasted each other for Valentine's day. Addie toasted everyone she knew I think. She thought that was pretty cool. She even toasted her "dearest friends" as she so sweetly called it! Priceless Valentine's memories. Mitch and I did get away for one of our 1st dinners without the kiddos the next night.
I got the cutest outfits from our friends Natalie and Travis and the girls looked so precious in them. I know you guys read the blog so thanks again for the precious gifts. Addie isn't always excited these days to get her picture taken so I have to have a little bribery for these pictures.
My little ballerina, she loves her new leotard from Aunt T, we have worn it several weeks in a row now. I can't wait for this spring's recital, I know she has improved so much this year and I can't wait for all the grandparents to see too!
Addie Blaire loves our bed at the condo. She gets right in the middle of it and wants to watch her movies. I think she likes it so much because when we are there the whole family sleeps together in our bed. She really likes sleeping with mommy and daddy!
Pajama day at school, it was "p" week!
Lashonda, Britann and Gavin's babysitter has been doing a great job of grabbing my camera and taking some pictures for me of the kiddos. I am so grateful for that because she has caught some really cute moments of the two of them that I would otherwise miss out on.
That tongue, she loves it!
How precious is that face. Lashonda sent me this on my phone one day and I couldn't get home fast enough that day to kiss those sweet cheeks!
My sweet babies and their big ole bows, I can't help myself!
This is just the most precious outfit, thanks Laura Beth!

Silly girl.

We got to babysit Addie's cousin Katie Ella and the girls had so much fun.
This sweet girl is 5 months old now and she is making great strides. She is taking 5 bottles a day with 6 ounces now and she was somewhere around 13 lbs I think. She is now eating rice cereal and some green vegetables. She is just starting to sleep in her own bed as of a week ago. She sleeps most of the night in her bed but usually ends up with mommy sometime in the middle of the night. She loves having her light up mobile on and the sound machine while she sleeps. She also loves to still be somewhat swaddled while she sleeps. She has the sweetest little laugh and is beginning to really develop her personality more everyday. She also loves her big sis. She watches Addie all the time and just follows her around the room. She is sitting up some on her own but not for long. I'm sure it won't be long though.

Baby Lila

Baby Lila was born on February 9, 2011. It is actually my dad's birthday which is pretty cool!! I had been stressing out wanting to be there for Terri and there had been some changes because she was going to get induced and then on that Tuesday the 8th they rescheduled it because the weather was supposed to be bad on Wednesday and Terri wanted to go into labor naturally. So I stayed home and about 8 that night I got the call. She was in labor!! She didn't really know what to tell me so I was stressing out because I didn't want to get snowed in in Little Rock but if I didn't go that night I wouldn't make it. So Britann and I loaded up the car about 11 pm that night and met my parents in ARkadelphia. I let Addie Blaire stay home with her daddy because it was going to be a little too much at the hospital and I figured Addie would be a little bored just hanging out there all day. My parents and I arrived at the hospital about 1:30am and Britann was wide awake!! We got to visit with Terri and then went to the waiting room to take a nap and watched as the snow came in. It snowed and snowed so needless to say we were there for a couple of days. Baby Lila made her appearance about 12 pm on Wednesday the 9th. It was my dad's birthday so he got to spend it at the hospital with his new grandbaby. I did tell him though that he can't favor this one just because she choice to arrive on his birthday!! We ended up getting a hotel room in town and got to spend the next two days at the hospital visiting. Little Brit was such a trooper she and I slept in the waiting room together in a chair and then I made her a pallet to play on in the waiting room. I was so thankful to get to be there with my sister at such a special time in her life and was also missing my little girl like crazy. Addie and daddy had fun though without us and I was so excited to get to her on Friday.

Beautiful little Lila with all her gorgeous jet black hair!! Now I have a precious niece and nephew I feel so lucky!

Addie Blaire was dying to meet Lila so after a weekend in Hot Springs we spent last Sunday with her. I love that Addie has on her big sis shirt because she was acting like such the mother hen to the two little ones!

Winter Wonderland!

I don't really know where to begin when I feel this behind on my postings! I guess I will start down at the bottom with the oldest stuff and work my way up. We have had so many snow storms that actually they are all starting to run together and well so are my pictures from each one. I actually took very few the last one because we were so tired of taking picture of snow, which is so odd to be saying in Arkansas I know. Addie Blaire got to really have some fun in the snow this year for the first time and well Britann just got to see snow for the first time, but she probably will be a little too young to remember it, which is just why I do this blog to remind her one day!!

Addie Blaire and Bobo made their very own snowman and he stayed with us a good week until he melted and the dogs in the neighborhood got a hold of the blow pops that we used as buttons! Addie did not find much humor in that for some reason though!

Britann and Addie Blaire had some fun in Hot Springs a few weeks back when we got to try out sledding for the 1st time.
Needless to say Addie Blaire was not scared at all!! I went down the huge hill with her the first time and she said "mommy I want to go on that one, I said okay let's go and she said no by myself!" I was so surprised by that for some reason I actually let her. Looking back not sure if that was the best move but so glad she had fun and no injuries occurred! She liked it so much that she had to do it on all 4 different slides that they had there. She is a real dare devil, and I can promise you she didn't get it from her dad. He wouldn't even try it!
Addie and I after our first run.

And off she went on her own!! We had someone at the bottom to catch her and she loved every second of it. I was so surprised at how brave she was. I didn't even hear her scream, I wish I could say the same for her mom.

Britann and daddy hanging out at the condo, we were snowed in for the day that weekend so Mitch had to make a trip to the store in the snow and it took a wee bit longer than he expected but we had frozen pizza and sausage not to mention some cookies to eat on that day. Thank goodness for the weather clearing up or we would all have weighed six hundred pounds!! It was pretty humorous though because he couldn't drive over our hill to the condo so he and I had to make treks over the hill with the groceries, it was quite the sight I am sure.

Addie Blaire loves to eat some snow! But what she loved even more was seeing her mommy bust is trying to get up the hill to the condo.

Sisters!! Britann's second snow encounter in Hot Springs .
.

Britann trying rice cereal for the 1st time. She was a little over 4 months in this picture. It is still a work in progress with the food even at 5 months because ever since she was a baby she has been obsessed with her tongue. She is moving that thing around like crazy all the time and for some reason every time I stick a bite of food in her mouth that thing is in the way. She does like the food I think but she just can't get the process down and so she gets a little frustrated with mommy.

She is really starting to hold her head up very well over the last month or so. These are some pictures from 4months. She is starting to be able to touch in the playsauser thing and even starting to grasp for toys.
She is taking about 5 or 6 bottles a day with 6 ounces. (I am posting all this because Aunt T keep asking me about this stuff and I told her with Britann my idea was to put all this on the blog since I haven't journaled like with Addie but so far this is the first entry in a while so I will try and get better Aunt T I promise) It is so helpful to look back and have a guide to go by. She is sleeping a bit better, still in pack in play in our room and still spending some time by mommy before morning breaks. She is starting to coo and really wants to talk so badly. I think that she really has said Hi and Bye just ask my sister, mom, Addie or Bracy because we swear that before she was even 4 months we all heard her one night say hi. Then the next day Bracy was leaving and we all were saying bye and I promise she said it. Bracy even stopped in his tracks and turned around because he heard it too. Now I haven't been able to get her to do this again. But I know that it happened and I have witnesses to prove it!

It was daddy's birthday in mid January so we made him a very special cake and had our own little party for him because as his present he so very sweetly asked for me and the kids to leave him alone!!! He got his wish and off to the race track he went for opening weekend!

These picture are from the first snow that we had in town. We got around 8 inches of snow which had the town in shutdown mode for several days. It was great but I was ready by the time the snow melted. Addie Blaire tried out a little sled ride that some neighborhood kids had put together pulled by her daddy and once again she showed no fear unlike all the other kiddos her age. (Don't worry Nana, daddy pulled her very slowly I promise.)

Britann during her 1st snow encounter. She didn't get to experience it quite like the rest of us did.

It was my parents 40th wedding anniversary this year and so Terri and I asked them if they wanted anything special and they said just for us all to get together so that is what we did but it was cut short by the weather so all of us rushed to get home that weekend before the weather came in. The night started out right with dinner at Fish Net, best hushpuppies in town) and we had cake and Ice cream back home. Addie Blaire couldn't help herself she said there had to be candles so she helped nana and pop blow those out.
Nana and pop with the Bobo girls,I was going to say grand kids but you will see in my next post they are not the only ones these days!!! Britann is smiling all the time so I was glad I caught a picture of it. She smiles all over every time she smiles. It melts my heart every time too!!

This is a picture I forgot to post from Christmas but this year Addie and I got to ride on our first float. She rode on one for dance class and she waved so much I thought her arm would fall off. I think she kinda liked that being a little celebrity!
