So much to be Thankful for...

November started off with B's fall festival at school.  Mitch took her that day and they had lots of fun together.

AB went with the youth group to a retreat in North Arkansas where she ran into two familiar faces from Hope.  Darby and cousin Lydia!!
B enjoyed herself at a sleepover at the local hotel, pool included!  What fun!
AB seemed to enjoy her time away from us as well with lots of Starbucks and friends.

The next weekend was spent supporting our friends in Charlotte's Web!  They both were amazing!

Fern was one of our favorites.

And this little spider!
B's Wednesday WAK group sang in church for the first time this year.
I got to spend some much needed mom and sister time at Holiday House this year.  So glad it worked out because we have tried to get together so many times and something always gets in the way.  Wish we could do this more often.
AB and friends preparing for the annual Nutcracker
KLife Barn Dance with friends!
A quick little volleyball camp downtown one evening for both my girls.
And Charlie even found time to make a few friends at her new doggie daycare!!
This year for Thanksgiving it was our year to be with Mitch's side of the family that day.  So we decided to start off the week with my family at a place close to the Crosses' heart.  Petit Jean state park.  We stayed in Bracy's family home on the edge of the mountain, we hiked, ate, did puzzles and ate some more.  It was a great 36 hours of much needed family time!

The view from the house is just breathtaking...you can see for hundreds of miles, or at least it seems like it!
The family pic...Mitch's stash included.  He was trying to help support The CALL with our no shave November but I don't think he realized he would be gracing my parent's Christmas card with that thing!

Swinging on the edge of the world!

Just a few little turkey's hanging around...AB had a Friends giving that week and we were in charge of dessert.  We tried really hard...not bad for my lack of cooking skills!

More Waterfall pics...I can't get over how beautiful it is every time we see it!

Lunch at the lodge!
The stash was in full effect!  No makeup and not filter...as you can tell!
Later that week we joined our friends from Chicago who were in the Spa City for the holiday.  They treated us to a hometown activity we had never tried...Maxwell Blade magic show...it was great!
Thanksgiving Day fun with the Websters!  A few of the kids, not mine..(hint hint McCaslins) had experienced chicken houses so we made sure that happened.  We didn't smell so well the rest of the day but it was fun to get to ride in the back of the truck through the farm all bundled up with cousins.
3 generations of Bobos!

Two cute chicks!

AB even got to see a friend while were in town!
We also got to celebrate a really special guy on his 84th birthday!  Happy birthday Pop, you are one special guy!

That weekend we also kicked off the Christmas season by lighting the advent candle at church.  B even had her own lines and she did great!
And just like that Elie and Olie were back and in full effect.  Always up to something crazy!!

And now the Nutcracker madness begins!!

Happy Thanksgiving and may you find so many reasons to be thankful this season.  I know as I post these memories months later I still am thankful for all these moments together with those I love!
