Lake House Before/Afters

We have been working on a little project for almost a year now.  We purchased a home on the lake last summer and over the course of several months have slowly been renovating the inside and deck of the home.  It had not been touched in several years so there are still projects to the outside on the horizon but the first goal was just to get in it.  I have attached some photos from the realtor's pictures as I forgot to take any of my own before we started the renovations.  We are so excited for how things have progressed and I can't wait to add to this post one day once the whole project is complete and the home is actually furnished but for now this will have to do.

The deck was in bad shape...lots of bad wood and several posts needed to be replaced.
The kitchen before was very closed off from the rest of the house.
Here you can see the opening to the kitchen from the living room.
The loft was open to the second floor but was a wasted space as it was open on both sides and really didn't have much purpose.

The bathrooms were very outdated and had old wallpaper that was peeling off the walls.

The carpet was very old and would have to be replaced.

The marble was outdated as was the hardware on all the faucets.
We started by filling in both sides of the upper loft.  We sheet rocked the whole front side from the entryway and then we went have way up on the opposite.

I will attach more as we begin to decorate of various room...but at least we have proof of some of the remodel in progress.  For now that will just have to do!
