Easter 2018

I really have gotten behind on my blogging so this will be very short and sweet in an attempt to get caught up.  I pick up where we left off after spring break with B losing her tooth.  We arrived home that night for her to begin getting ready for bed.  I told her it was time to put her tooth under the pillow and this is exactly what she had to say about it.  I sure hope it plays because this is a keeper among videos for sure!  After the video we begin Palm Sunday week until Easter celebrating our Risen Lord, Jesus with family, friends and our church.  These people keep us grounded and our the constant reminder in my life of Jesus love for us and sacrifice so that we may have eternal life.  So proud of these girls for their commitment to our church and to their Jesus as well!

Palm Sunday we got to enjoy a few songs these kiddos had been practicing for weeks on Wednesday nights.  They did a great job!
Cute little bday party for Miss Olivia.  They made the cutest door hangers!
Just a little afternoon with dad before mom got to town...They look way to excited to be going in this place!  I think it has something to do with all the snacks and ice cream they get while they are there!
Easter sacks from Sheshe and Bobo.  They always look forward to what they will find in these.  They always get a cute swimsuit for summer and lots of cool gadgets and of course candy!
The egg dying has begun for 2018...this year the new thing is whipped eggs not sure what that is all about but we gave it a try.

The Easter bunny left tracks through the house this year...the girls didn't know what to think when they had to clean that up!  He led them all through the house on quite the hunt for all their eggs they had died.  It ended at their baskets filled with goodies that they had to share with me of course!

This year the church hosted the Easter Egg hunt right before services and these kids were on it.  They picked up what looked like a million eggs scattered not hidden all over the ground!  They really earned that candy.

Pictures with cousins and Nana and Pop in front of the cross...reminding us of what a joyful morning it is indeed.  Kind of weird how with no filter at all the sky seems so vivid....I think that is all the proof we need of his power at work in our lives each and every day not just today.

Lunch for the family at my house this year...and yes those are paper plates. #justkeepingitreal!

A little cousin fun one weekend.

Tball is in full swing!

End of the year shenanigans have started!
My big 41 party...not quite as fun once you are over the hill!  Thanks to all that came and to those not pictured!

Just a little photo with the new head coach of the Hogs while Mitch and i were attending a little gathering in Texarkana to meet and greet him.
