Fall Festivities and more..

The fall for the Bobo's starts off like so many other Razorback fans with a little tailgating.  This year our first game was the Little Rock home game and as you can tell by the very, very red faces below the kiddos had a great time, except for the unbearable heat that didn't seem to let up.   We tailgated from noon til about 9 when the game was over and these kids never slowed down.
Poor things had the reddest faces all day long and as soon as we got them settled down they were back up and at em' again the same way as before.
Daddy and his future Razorbacks
These two little cuzs' just love each other, then they want to kill each other, than they love each other...well you get the idea but they truly do love each other.  The whole sharing thing just sometimes seems to get in the way for both of them
Silly girls..and I don't just mean the little ones in the front those big ones in the back were up to all kinds of adventures all day as well.
Woo pig sooie!!  (I had been waiting to attach these photos to some other game day photos but since dad seems to be such a fair weather fan we haven't made many games since...but don't worry this girl still calls the hogs everywhere she goes!
The next week the fair was in town and we started the afternoon off at the local parade followed by an evening of games and rides. Britann, Darby, Madison and Addie Blaire waiting for the parade to begin.
I hear the sirens...everyone is waiting for the arrival of the fire truck followed by about 62 fair queens, a few horses and maybe a band or two in between.  Yes, the pleasures of small town living...it's the little things around here that get us all excited!
Fair time and and Addie Blaire had no problem trying out all the rides...

even Britann took a spin or two with the help of sweet friends.  She wasn't quite as excited to try out all of them like big sister but had her eye on the prize the whole time..

and what a prize it was ...she ate every last drop!
Addie Blaire playing with friends one afternoon at Katie Ella's house.
A weekend with Nana in Little Rock.  Since Mitch headed up to a game with friends the girls and I decided to have a little fun of our own.  We met up with Nana and got our very own hotel room in downtown Little Rock at the Peabody.  We checked in, picked up Lila and headed downtown for a girls' night out!  (picture quality stinks with my phone so please ignore, we are blogging her it's all about the memories not the quality of photographs from this amateur mother photographer okay.)
The girls first stop was to check out the river and all the happenings down below.  It never ceases to amaze me how much kids just love a hotel, motel, holiday inn it doesn't matter something about the new just has them mystified!!  Oh to be young again, but at least they keep me feeling that way!!

A little sightseeing along the way.
Our trolley ride to dinner that evening.

Finally it was time for the big show.."Wicked" Aunt T met us at the hotel while the little ones stayed back with Nana the three of us headed out to the show.  I was so excited to get to take Addie Blaire and sometime soon Britann.  I have seen many Broadway plays over the years and this is still one of my all time favorites.. I just knew AB would feel the same (unless the flying monkeys scared her and then it would be all over)
Love spending time with two of my favorite people ( I just hate that my camera still wasn't cooperating)

Showtime... and she loved it... she caught every story line, every mention or tie in to Wizard of Oz and even some things I never remembered from my first time.  I was soo impressed with attention to each part of the show and she was so impressed with how "loud" they could sing!

Meanwhile, back at the hotel...these two were patiently trying to wait up on us. Unfortunately they didn't make it but we had more fun in store the next morning.
The next morning we had breakfast at the riverfront cafe and then did some shopping at the farmer's market down town.  While we were there we met the sweetest, strangest, music man I have ever seen.  He makes all kinds of instruments out of all kinds of stuff and he just encourages the kids to try them all out.  We stood there for a good thirty minutes while the girls, shook, rattled and rolled to their hearts content!!  That's the good stuff...just simple pure fun!

After music time the girls, Nana and I headed to the Game and Fish museum and had a great time checking out all the animals.  It took a little explaining how they could look so real yet still be dead..??  Anyone feel free to explain that to them cause not sure I can.
Check out that alligator skin
Their Pop and Bobo would be so proud not only did they find the big buck they got the big catch of the day too!!
That afternoon we rushed back to town because I was hosting a reception for Former Governor Huckabee and his wife Janet.  It turned out to be a great event and they were both so nice and welcoming to everyone.  It was refreshing to see how genuinely glad they were to see all these old, yet familiar faces as if they had never left.  I was so glad to be a part of their welcome home reception.
Addie Blaire, Mitch and I meeting little Virginia Lester for the first time.  She was such a little beauty just like her mom.
Hanging out and getting to watch Mason score his first touchdown of the season! Proud Aunt moment...
Well there is the birthday boy himself just hanging out!! After the game we got to celebrate Max's 1st birthday. For some reason I don't have any pictures from the actual party but it was super precious and he finally after a little encouragement enjoyed his cake!!
The next week was Addie Blaire's grandparents day at school.  She had Nana, Pop, G, and Bobo all there to celebrate with her.  She was so excited to show them her new school room and all her new friends.

Cheer camp for those Saint cheerleaders...they did such a great job and can't wait to show pictures from their first performance they were "Cruisin for a Bruisin!"
A picture I was sent from Aimee from this summer that was just too cute not to post.
One day after school Nicki and Pop decided to pick up the little cousins for some bonding time at their house.  This is the scene I walked into that afternoon, each of them sitting there eating a bowl full of scrambled eggs!! (at 3 o'clock in the afternoon!)  They seemed to be in pure heaven though and I sure do appreciate Nicki and Pop for all they do for these kiddos.
A picture from Mrs. Michelle's of the kids outside enjoying a beautiful fall picnic.  I am so glad Britann seems to really be enjoying her new school and most of all her new friends!
It has become a tradition that AB and I attend Tiger Tunes together each year to watch Abby and Lindsey.  This was her 3rd tunes so far... and she loves every second of it.  However, I didn't anticipate bringing Britann quite yet because of the length of the show but since my mom was along this year we decided to give it a try and dad was around if it didn't work out or to pick her up at intermission..but low and behold the child loved it as well and sat through all 3 hours of the show!!!  So excited that we can now all go together...and their favorite part was seeing cousin Lindsey on stage.
After the show, Lindsey took the girls backstage and they got to meet Mrs. Arkansas.  These two pretty little girls were so excited to see that cool crown!!

Happy Fall Ya'll!!  Next up ghosts, witches, and a duck??!!!
