Halloween!

The Halloween week started out with some birthday party fun at cousin Lydia's house.  It started out with a little bobbin for apples and then on to a hayride.  The girls were excited to get to dress in costumes for the night too.
 Successful bobbing..

 Cinderella makes an entrance.
The same week we had a fall festival at school.  Addie Blaire had a great time playing games and hanging out with friends.  I worked the cake walk and it was so much fun getting to watch all the kids dance around.  I had as much fun as the kids did I think.
There was even a photo booth for the kids.

That weekend before Halloween the church decided to do a fall festival this year.  Usually we do a trunk or treat on Halloween night so this was the first year to try something different.  I think all the kids had a good time got to dress up once again!

WE even got to do a little trick or treating a couple of days early.
Thanks to daddy who found the maze making material and the other men that built it we were able to have lots of fun making our way through.  It turned out so well and all the kids had a blast trying to find there way through.  Even Britann was able to make her way through!

Britann and Makalya she is always so good to help out with the girls.
Britan jumped right in there and made her way around the games all by herself.
We had another funfilled hayride that afternoon.

My little pirate and bumble bee!

That bee looks like she is up to something!

That is the sweetest little pirate I've ever seen.
Addie Blaire has started to cheer at school for the basketball team and she is really getting into the swing of things.  She has got the moves down and boy are they some vocal cheerleaders!

THe squad, or at least of the majority of the 37 of them!

 Opening Nana's Halloween bag.

 Boo!

This picture needs some explanation because this sweet girl sold her heart out for this check she is holding.  She sold almost 40 loaves of braided bread!  She went to all the tables at the country club all by herself and sold so much bread that she won 2nd place and $50  at school!!  She said that she even got to go on stage and get her check in front of everyone.  She was sooo proud that I would have sold more bread if I had known how happy she would be.  I asked if she was going to spend it or save it and without hesitation she said "what does save mean, I think I will spend it!" I am one proud mama and now the school gets even more playground equipment.
Ahoy mates!  This bubble bee and pirate are ready for some trick or treating.

All the grandkids at mamaw's that night.  Aren't they just the prettiest bunch of kiddos?

The kids with mamaw that evening.  She had decided and told her kids that this year would be different.  She wanted to dress up for Halloween like a princess because she knew all the greats would love it.  She knew exactly what dress in her closet to wear and had Katie Ella loan her a crown.  She looked like the most beautiful princess I have seen in a while.  The kids all thought it was really neat.  I guess for all of us adults it meant soo much more because I know that this will be her last Halloween with us and to see that she embraces it, well I wish we all got it like that and lived each year like it was our last.

Nicki and Pop with the grankids and greats.
After we stopped by mamaw's we headed over to a neighborhood bonfire. We did some roasting and trick or treating via or 3rd hayride of the season.  The girls had a great time with all their friends, I hope we can make this a yearly tradition.
