I can't explain how much I have enjoyed playing with her lately, she is such a fun little girl and has so much personality. I actually am having a hard time leaving her even for the day. I can't even really leave her for the night right now either. I don't know what it is but I just don't like being away from her. She is fine with it I'm sure, it's just me that has an issue with it! As for her talking, she is saying everything!! I do mean everything that Mitch and I do. She now likes to roll over in the morning in the bed with us and she says "come on Mommy and Daddy and Zoe" she wants us to get up and go watch cartoons with her. She loves to say that "she scares me" she will run off and come back and I will scream of course to play along. She also does lots of dances. I have taught her some moves to do to "5monkeys jumping in a bed" and she bounces around doing them. I am still trying to get that one on video! She still weighs 27 lbs. I guess that is due in part to the stomach virus that she got along with myself, mitch and my mom. She got sick one morning and the next day all of us had it! I never realized how tough it would be for 3 sick adults to take care of one little girl. I think it took me 30 minutes to make her toast that morning. Then she got sick this last week with an ear infection. I always know when that is coming because she seems to be more whiny and needy at that time. Sure enough I took her into the doctor and she had an ear infection. She has finally started to run. She says"look at me I runnin." She finally realized she could bend her knees and that has helped to make it more possible to get around a little faster. I have taught her to count to 6 in Spanish and 12 in English. I am working on a few more each week. Janice has taught her what street she lives on and she can even sing "doe ray me." I thought I heard her say it one night and I just said "fa so" and she looked at me and said "la te doe" I laughed so hard because that was something I had no idea she even knew. Mitch and I were just talking tonight about how lucky we are to have her in our lives and I can't imagine what we did before her. Giving Daddy some lovin!

A day at the Park!
Mitch and I took Addie Blaire to the park a week ago and had so much fun spending the afternoon with her enjoying every second of watching her explore. It seems like we have been on the go for so many weeks lately and it was just nice to get to enjoy each other's company for the day. Here is a little update on some of Addie Blaire's latest milestones:
Super Bowl
We went over to the Tyree's house for the super bowl a few weeks ago and Addie Blaire had her first brownie!! I just thought a few of the pictures showing just how much she enjoyed it would be funny. She also had such a good time playing with all the kids that were there. Another milestone that night was that she made it up and down a flight of stairs (with mom close by) without actually tumbling down them all. I am working on this with her because she gets so excited and tries to walk down them, which doesn't usually end well. Here are a few pics with Olivia.

The 1st Haircut!
Okay, so I know it is about time that Addie Blaire got her hair cut because my sister finally acknowledged what unfortunately I was aware of but not ready to admit. My poor beautiful daughter was sporting a mullet!!! I know I should have cut her hair earlier but it was too hard to admit that she was growing up! Mitch and I took her for the first cut the other day in Hope. She did so well, I think it helped that some kids she knew where getting their hair cut when we walked in so she got to watch. She did great though, never cried or tried to get away. I was so excited we celebrated afterwards with a drink from Sonic! I think this will help her hair grow though from what I hear it will really change in the next few months now. We just trimmed it up and got rid of the awful mullet!
A few of the before pics!
She is learning how to tease the hair. A secret her mom has never quite mastered!
A day with Aunt T!
Aunt T came down to hang out with us one day and we decided to take her to meet "Howard" We decided to go and get Griffin so that he could go with us. In the true spirit of things both the kids called the duck on the way over there. It is so cute because they start calling "Howard" from the minute they leave the house. I think Aunt T had no idea what to expect but Howard is not like any duck I've ever seen and I think she felt the same way! He is so comfortable with the kids it is amazing.
I took this shot of the kids holding hands and I just think it is the sweetest picture ever! It just doesn't get sweeter than that. The kids are such good buddies and watch out for each other these days. I am so glad they can grow up together like there mothers did!

Snuggling with Aunt T and mom. She sure has taken to Aunt T and all her fun games and songs. My sister is full of excitment and animation, which is great for kids. I see a little of Addie Blaire in her because she wants to entertain and is very animated with her hands and facial expressions. Of course with Mitch's side of the family being so talkative also she comes by it honestly.
She loves her some Zoe and in turn Zoe is beginning to warm up to her. She says "pat, pat" Zoe as she pets her (i think that is from Little Einsteins) She is now starting to say "come on Zoe" I guess she has heard me saying that more than once or twenty times a day and she has taken to it! Pretty funny to listen to her calling for Zoe too. Zoe has a tendency to get out in our neighborhood so we have to go find her. Addie Blaire does a good job of calling for her too. I guess they have also bonded because they are now sleeping together. yes, that is right the whole family is now sleeping in the big bed!! Addie sleeps at the top of the bed and Zoe at her feet!
Dad's Birthday Weekend!
We had a big birthday weekend for Mitch at the lake. We went to eat with a few couples that night for his birthday. But the best part was the cake that mom and Addie gave daddy. She was so excited to sing happy birthday to him. She and I had practiced it a million times that day and she came through. She officially sang it to him, with the subtraction of a few key words it was a success!! Of course now she sings it frequently!
Hanging at the lake!
I am very behind on posting and so these pictures are from the first week of January. My friend Faith came and brought her kids to the lake to hang out with Addie Blaire and I and we had a great time. The weather was so warm that day that the kids hung out by the lake and got to do lots of fun activities!
