Driving Already!

Addison Blaire and Mason decided to take their turn at the wheel of the boat. I am not sure who did a better job, but they both had fun giving it a try. Grandpa's let them have all the fun!

Finally, Addison Blaire was able to cut loose a little bit this weekend after being sick for the past two weeks. We spent a little time on the boat, when it wasn't so hot out.

Addie Blaire loves Zoe. She can even say her name now. She is constantly trying to play with her.
She has the biggest laugh, especially when trying to feed Zoe her goldfish crackers.

Sick again!

I took this picture one day when Mrs. Janice was staying with Addie Blaire this week while she was sick. We didn't have many chances for pictures, but I couldn't resist this one because she was so tired from her fever and just fell asleep in Janice's arms.

Corn on the Cob

Here are a few pics from Addison Blaire's first meal at Aunt T and Uncle B's house. They fixed her corn on the cob and she ate every bite. I guess she will be wanting to go back there next time for a real meal, unfortunately mom doesn't fix to many of those for her.

June 12th, 2008

Addison Blaire on the actual day of her 1st birthday. She turned one on a Thursday this year. We had a few friends over to her "G's" pool for some fun.

This is Addie Blaire's first bday gift from Mom and Dad. Well we did get her a DVD player for the car, but it was stolen last week out of my car so we will have to try and get her another one real soon. She was really getting used to watching some Baby Einstein and Backyardians on the go!

She was splashing so hard in the water that she actually scared herself I think. She really likes the baby pools and even the big pool. She floated on her back for several seconds all by herself.

She is opening her card from her great-grandparents Bass. It plays "under the sea," I know all to well because I get to hear it all the time!

Addison's 1st Bday

Okay, so we have been going through some rough weeks at our house between Addison Blaire being sick for like the past two weeks, my car getting broken into, Mitch being sick and a variety of other reasons I am just now getting to post some pics I have been meaning to post for awhile now. These are some pictures taken at Addison Blaire's 1st bday party last month. I attached so many of them because I couldn't decided which ones to post. She had such a good time and so did the rest of us, except for all the flies that were in attendance also. The party had to kind of be moved inside, but it all worked out. She actually really seemed to enjoy opening the presents and she got so much fun stuff that she is playing with all the time now. I can't wait til next year.

This is a little tutu that I found online, it was filled with confetti, streamers, and pompoms. We went with the princess theme for the big day, after all she is our little Princess!

Addison Blaire wasted no time getting down to business with the cake. She was a big fan I think, we had to pry it away from her after several minutes.
She got a little tired before the party ever started, all the anticipation I guess.

The cake that mom had Blue Cake company out of Little Rock make for the big day. The best part was it had real strawberries inside!
Addie Blaire got so many singing cards. She absolutley loves them and has even started dancing to them thanks to her crazy mom and Nana showing her how it's done.

The setup at the table, thanks to Miss Shelley from Doodleworks for the cool princess platter. She even had me write a little letter to Addie on her Bday on the back of it. I also had everyone write Addison Blaire a note to help her remember her 1st big day.

Addie Blaire loved her new doll with a magnetic paci, just like hers. Thanks Miss laci for the cool hat too. Addie Blaire took off the bow she was wearing as soon as I pulled the hat out of the box. It was so funny, she was ready to try it on!!

Our good friend, David Adams.

I wanted to post some pictures today from our trip to the Kentucky Derby this year back in May. I am posting these because this was such a memorable time that we had with David and Ashley Adams. I know we will never forget the good times we had with David.

David passed away on July 16, 2008. He had battled leukemia for over a year. He had actually beat the cancer and this trip was to celebrate the end to his treatments. He endured so much over the past year and I know there were so many ups and downs for Ashley, too. David and Mitch have been the best of friends since college and I know Mitch is taking this very hard. He will miss him greatly!! I met David when Mitch and I first started dating. I liked him instantly and that like has turned into so much more over the years, especially in watching him this past year. David never complained, never asked why him, he just fought. I have such a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for him. I just want him to know how much we loved him and how immensely he will be missed!! Terri's Wedding Part 1

Here are a few pictures of the family from Terri's beautiful wedding on Petit Jean Mountain on June 7, 2008.

Addison Blaire woke up about 2 minutes before this picture was taken as she was getting ready to go down the aisle!! She did a great job though at waving to all the attendants!!

Terri had such a great idea with this set up. Addison Blaire rode down the aisle in her red wagon, but thanks to Nana you couldn't even tell it with all the ribbon and decorations. She seemed quite comfortable actually.

Bobo Family Vacation 2008

The Bobo annual family vacation kicked off this year with a good time in Gulf Shores, AL (partly due to the fact that it was the closest beach location and we weren't sure how Addie Blaire would like the long car ride!! She did great and we all had a good time. We went with the McCaslin's (Brandee, Mark, and cousin Mason) and the Lawhon's (TJ, Mandy, and Evan). Addison Blaire had such a good time playing with Mason and Evan. She really loved the beach and the pool!! WE had a great time and I can't wait for next year's trip!!
