New York at Christmas!!!

Over Christmas, our family took a trip.  We woke up Christmas morning, opened a few presents, and then hit the road to Little Rock Airport.  We flew out at noon that day to New York City for Christmas in the city.  I have dreamed of seeing the tree at Rockefeller Center my whole life.  I decided this year to make that dream come true.  The girls have wanted to go to NYC for years, but due to Covid that, put things on hold.  I didn't want the girls to see the city until it was NYC..no masks!  This trip really was a dream come true!

Christmas Night at the famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree!!!!! Eeek...

The girls first view of the city from the Uber.
AB was so excited...she has wanted to take this trip for years...our hotel was right in the heart of Times Square!

My pictures may be out of order, so I will recap the best I can.  We went to see the tree on Christmas night, had dinner in Rockefeller Center, and then attended the world-famous Radio City Rockette Christmas Show late that night.

The next morning we started the day off at Grand Central Station!

Then went straight to the top of Summit 1 Tower. It was fantastic...we took way too many pictures as you can see...

The mirrored floor was toooo cool!

First Subway Ride...but it wasn't the last.  It was so nice and warm down in the subway station...it was freezing the whole time we were there...like 20 degrees freezing!  So it was much quicker to travel this way than waiting on Uber in the city.

The Christmas Village at Bryant Park was my favorite holiday surprise.  We drank hot chocolate and shopped with so many local vendors. It was so cute....
The Twin Towers Memorial...still in awe of this memorial.  We weren't able to take the tour that day but spent time reading the names of those that were lost in the attack.

The Oculus

We made it to the Hudson Yards for lunch... overlooking the Vessel.

The Statue of Liberty...we didn't take the trip out to the statue because we might have frozen to death that day but we got some great views from the shoreline.

Dinner at Serendipity....such a treat!  We barely got reservations!

Nighttime in Times Square...there is truly nothing like it!  And we weren't the only ones there...the city was packed!

Lucky us...the M&M store was next to our hotel...so fun!

The Brooklyn Bridge

Still having so much fun...now on to Day 3.  We def saw it all!!!
