Back to School We Go...At Least for Now!

As is tradition, the girls and i went for a little Mani- Pedi the day before school started!
And another tradition continues...a few of our favorite things year #9

All masked up and ready to go...no need to tell you the year on this one. Hopefully, 2020 will be the only one that resembles this.  We are ready to unmask and give lots of hugs around this house!

B's thoughts on covid are pretty clear!!!  She did that all on her own to add her touch to her poster.

Blessing of the Backpacks at church...covid style in our cars!
And finally volleyball season is here!  This girl has worked so hard to make the 8th grade team this year.  She started 7th grade volleyball with over 75 girls trying out, by the end of the year there were over 40 girls that tried out for 8th grade. This girl was able to play with the top 10 in her grade.  We are so proud of her hard work and determination. I don't know what the future holds for her and volleyball but we could not be more proud!  She is a fighter!

First road game to Benton.

We even took a road trip for volleyball down to Magnolia.  This is my grandparent's home.  I wanted the girls to see it because it has been several years since they were there.  I know they don't remember much about it, but the memories i have of many days and nights spent there will forever be some of my best memories.  My grandmother always made trips to the local bakery to get me my favorite cookies and lots of time playing in the front yard.  The house has been sold but so glad to see they have kept it looking nice.

AB all dressed up for school.  On game days, the girls all have to dress up and wear nice clothes to school.
Little B all ready for another day at school..mask and all!
My little Lakeside Dance Team member...they had to dress up for the first day back at school in uniform.  They look so cute!  Excited to watch her do her thing on the field, provided that all gets to happen!

Cousin Abbey has moved back from New York City to start her own business.  We are so excited to have her living closer to us now!!
Another day, another mask!
We got a call from one of AB's friends that she was in town playing ball, so glad to get to go and watch PeyPey.
A few before pics of our latest project to the house.  We have done quite a bit as I look back at older posts.  The latest project was changing out the front doors and the enjtry way....I think it turned out really nice.

AB's first game...Thursday night lights!

Volleyball game in El Dorado
While I was there I decided to go by and see Karen with The CALL.  Her new support center is amazing!!
Birthday surprise for sweet Adalie!

B got to take a spin on Ak's horse...she had a blast at her horse party!

A few volleyball videos...here's hoping they work!

So excited to be back doing our thing, even if it is a bit different this year!
