Addie Blaire and Bobo made their very own snowman and he stayed with us a good week until he melted and the dogs in the neighborhood got a hold of the blow pops that we used as buttons! Addie did not find much humor in that for some reason though!
Britann and Addie Blaire had some fun in Hot Springs a few weeks back when we got to try out sledding for the 1st time.
Needless to say Addie Blaire was not scared at all!! I went down the huge hill with her the first time and she said "mommy I want to go on that one, I said okay let's go and she said no by myself!" I was so surprised by that for some reason I actually let her. Looking back not sure if that was the best move but so glad she had fun and no injuries occurred! She liked it so much that she had to do it on all 4 different slides that they had there. She is a real dare devil, and I can promise you she didn't get it from her dad. He wouldn't even try it!

And off she went on her own!! We had someone at the bottom to catch her and she loved every second of it. I was so surprised at how brave she was. I didn't even hear her scream, I wish I could say the same for her mom.
Britann and daddy hanging out at the condo, we were snowed in for the day that weekend so Mitch had to make a trip to the store in the snow and it took a wee bit longer than he expected but we had frozen pizza and sausage not to mention some cookies to eat on that day. Thank goodness for the weather clearing up or we would all have weighed six hundred pounds!! It was pretty humorous though because he couldn't drive over our hill to the condo so he and I had to make treks over the hill with the groceries, it was quite the sight I am sure.
Addie Blaire loves to eat some snow! But what she loved even more was seeing her mommy bust is trying to get up the hill to the condo.
Sisters!! Britann's second snow encounter in Hot Springs .

Britann trying rice cereal for the 1st time. She was a little over 4 months in this picture. It is still a work in progress with the food even at 5 months because ever since she was a baby she has been obsessed with her tongue. She is moving that thing around like crazy all the time and for some reason every time I stick a bite of food in her mouth that thing is in the way. She does like the food I think but she just can't get the process down and so she gets a little frustrated with mommy.
She is really starting to hold her head up very well over the last month or so. These are some pictures from 4months. She is starting to be able to touch in the playsauser thing and even starting to grasp for toys.
She is taking about 5 or 6 bottles a day with 6 ounces. (I am posting all this because Aunt T keep asking me about this stuff and I told her with Britann my idea was to put all this on the blog since I haven't journaled like with Addie but so far this is the first entry in a while so I will try and get better Aunt T I promise) It is so helpful to look back and have a guide to go by. She is sleeping a bit better, still in pack in play in our room and still spending some time by mommy before morning breaks. She is starting to coo and really wants to talk so badly. I think that she really has said Hi and Bye just ask my sister, mom, Addie or Bracy because we swear that before she was even 4 months we all heard her one night say hi. Then the next day Bracy was leaving and we all were saying bye and I promise she said it. Bracy even stopped in his tracks and turned around because he heard it too. Now I haven't been able to get her to do this again. But I know that it happened and I have witnesses to prove it!

It was daddy's birthday in mid January so we made him a very special cake and had our own little party for him because as his present he so very sweetly asked for me and the kids to leave him alone!!! He got his wish and off to the race track he went for opening weekend!
These picture are from the first snow that we had in town. We got around 8 inches of snow which had the town in shutdown mode for several days. It was great but I was ready by the time the snow melted. Addie Blaire tried out a little sled ride that some neighborhood kids had put together pulled by her daddy and once again she showed no fear unlike all the other kiddos her age. (Don't worry Nana, daddy pulled her very slowly I promise.)
Britann during her 1st snow encounter. She didn't get to experience it quite like the rest of us did.
It was my parents 40th wedding anniversary this year and so Terri and I asked them if they wanted anything special and they said just for us all to get together so that is what we did but it was cut short by the weather so all of us rushed to get home that weekend before the weather came in. The night started out right with dinner at Fish Net, best hushpuppies in town) and we had cake and Ice cream back home. Addie Blaire couldn't help herself she said there had to be candles so she helped nana and pop blow those out.
Nana and pop with the Bobo girls,I was going to say grand kids but you will see in my next post they are not the only ones these days!!! Britann is smiling all the time so I was glad I caught a picture of it. She smiles all over every time she smiles. It melts my heart every time too!!
This is a picture I forgot to post from Christmas but this year Addie and I got to ride on our first float. She rode on one for dance class and she waved so much I thought her arm would fall off. I think she kinda liked that being a little celebrity!
