We escaped for a night to Texarkana during the break and got to see lots of friends! We even stayed in a hotel which was a nice break for all of us from home. So good to see these cute faces!
And the next morning we met up with Pop to visit Nicki for the first time at the nursing home. I know you can't see from the pictures but she was so glad to see these faces!
That night we went over to Brandee's lake house for Christmas with G. We had lots of fun and even filmed our very own family tiktok!
And AB some earbuds...that she will put to good use I know!

And then just like that Christmas morning was here and these girls got all that they asked for and more...Brit really wanted a hammock and without many trees at the house Santa knew just what to get!
Even Charlie was happy!
Then it was time for our annual scavenger hunt. The girls love this tradition so much more than presents under the tree. They run all over the house locating present at each stop.
Brit had asked for a Jfit bar to hang in her doorway and swing on so she was pumped to see it under the tree!

And dad even had my favorite shipped in from friends in Chicago, the only place to get diet Squirt!
One of the girls gifts this year were blue light glasses, hence AB. Another was a subscription for each so that they can continue to get a present all year long. B got a subscription to KIWI where she will be sent a craft each month. This month was a purse she could make. AB got a subscription to IPSY where she will get 5 makeup products each month to try out! They really loved the idea!
And then the leds were another hit!

And the grand finale...a water tramploline...the lake won't be the same this year!
And thanks to Anna and Colby these girls got this small little thing! HA! You will be able to spot us on the lake!
The day after CHristmas since the weather had warmed up we spent the day with my family in Arkadelphia. We stayed outside, played football, basketball, rode scooters and bikes! The kids even took a 5 mile bike ride with uncle B!

So excited to start getting those curls perfected.
Mitch, B and I celebrated 2021 with friends while AB spent the night away! Good times...bring on 2021 hopefully it will be better than the last!

It has been a crazy year, but the people in these photos make like so much better. If 2020 has taught me one thing it is not about the life you live but the people you get to live it with. I have sat at home more, spent more time on the couch and yet come to appreciate my life even more. Don't get me wrong I am ready to travel again, but for now I think I will just continue to hold on to these guys a little tighter til that time comes!
