February... basketball, track and volleyball...and a little oopsie!

So proud of this girl right here.  She branched out this year and tried a new sport, basketball.  She knew nothing about it when she started and by her final game this girl scored her first goal!  She even had a free throw!  She learned a lot and is now ready to keep improving for next year.  Bonus, her team took home the 1st place trophy for the season this year!
AS always she did it surrounded by her favorite #1 fans!

The 1st place champs, these girls left it all on the court after each game.
Saturdays are made for volleyball and basketball!

A little Sunday fun with the Sarver girls at the horse races!!

Annabel was the big winner that day!

Followed by a beat the car event at youth.  Not really sure the point of it all but these girls sure took a swing at it!

Galinetines with the girls at Klife!
This little girl gave us quite the scare the other weekend.  We were on our way to Arkadelphia to celebrate my dad and Lila's dual birthday when I got a call from my sister.  Brit was already in town because she had gone with my parents the day before to avoid an early morning volleyball tournament.  Terri had just gotten to town and taken the girls for a bike ride in the neighborhood.  This little one apparently over corrected going down a hill and landed in a holly bush face first.  She was in lots of pain when I arrived and just kept wanting to go to sleep (at 4:30pm) which was not normal for her.  We loaded up the car and headed to the local ER, after about 4 of us holding her down to get numbing medication in her eye so the physician could check it out we were told that she had scratched her cornea.  It was a long night of trying to keep her awake and out of pain but luckily after a second check up by a local eye doctor it was confirmed that her eyesight was going to be okay and she was back to her normal self again.  I must admit it was a really bad scare for mom and dad and everyone involved but if I ever doubted it before this girl is TOUGH!  She has my respect because she never complained even though I know the pain was terrible and she always kept a positive attitude, something we could all take a lesson from her on.  So glad everything is OK now and no permanent damage was done, except for a few tears and fears left on this mom's heart!!
Valentine's day with this cutie!  She was prepared she had it all worked out for her friends.

Heart Ball fun with The McAlisters and the gorgeous Annaliese!
Picture overload, as we don't get out much nor do we ever take photos together.  oh and I had a spray tan so I was enjoying that natural glow! HA!
